  1. Strengthen WordPress Toolkit password policy to match Plesk's password policy

WordPress Toolkit doesn't have a strict password policy as Plesk has, as it allows very weak passwords to be changed to. Therefore, allowing WordPress Toolkit to have the same password policy as configured in Plesk or having a configurable password policy should increase security.

  2. Expand filtering of sites in WP toolkit by adding "Search Engine Indexing Enabled" state

Add "Search engine indexing" state for the domain into the filtering option for the list of sites (same as for "Debug").

  3. Add global option to control default value of "Search Indexing Enabled" and "Debugging" for newly created site

We've WordPress development company and use Plesk for managing lots of staging servers for projects under development.
All domains are created automatically via API as part of the project's start process, and, of course, all instances that are under development should not be indexed during the development stage (as it will affect the page index of the site in production).
By default, "Search Indexing" option is enabled, and this is quite inconvenient and error prone for us (as it requires manual setup of the created instance).
Adding global server-wide configuration option for WP Toolkit that will control such default behavior…

  4. Option to 'Disable Wordpress Comments'

    Spam is not exciting.

There should be an option to disable WordPress Comments.

  5. UI to limit Wordpress revisions

We can limit revisions by using
    define('WPPOSTREVISIONS', false);
    or
    define('WPPOSTREVISIONS', 20);

Make this available via the UI and ability to set defaults for all WP sites.

  6. WPTK Sets "Migration"

It would be great to have an option to export the WPTK "Sets" and then being able to import them in WPTK on the other servers.

  7. Text field for notes per WordPress installation

For managing many WordPress installations with WP Toolkit, it would be helpful to be able to add a (searchable) text note to each instance.
Similar to labels, but just a free text field where you can insert a few lines of text.

  8. Be able to Whitelist IP Addresses for WordPress Toolkit Security Measures

When enabling all the WordPress Toolkit Security Measures, we should be able to specify and whitelist IP addresses in order to NOT apply the rules, this way the owner of website can access potentially sensitive files via URL without being blocked

  9. Ability to set default values as part of a set (template for new Wordpress sites created through WP Toolkit)

Would save a lot of time setting up a new wordpress if we could create a set with default values we always set anyway, like not allowing comments from people who aren't login etc, time/dates, time zones etc.

  10. Strengthen WordPress Toolkit Password Policy

By default, Plesk's WordPress Toolkit should provide the option to disallow re-use of old passwords.

  12. Bot protection in Wordpress Toolkit should include the option to exclude some bots

It should be possible to exclude some bots from "bot protection" option in Wordpress Toolkit, for example, Semrushbot is used for seo in sites, and it should remain active, or acunetix is a security scanner and users may want to use it, whlie blocking other unwanted bots.

  15. WordPress Smart Updates notifications

For now, the only way to manage WordPress Smart Updates notifications is to enable/disable them at all under Tools & Settings > Notifications > WordPress application updates.

Please add feature to manage Smart Updates notifications, particularly receiving only failed updates.

  16. Update custom/premium assets like themes and plugins with Smart Updates

The WordPress Toolkit and Smart Updates shall register custom/premium assets like themes and plugins which aren't available on WordPress.org. Basically, if the Dashboard in the WordPress backend shows updates, the toolkit and Smart Updates should be able to recognize them and and include them into the update and test.

  17. Add CLI command that prevents installation of the plugins that are shipped with WordPress by default

For example, the customer has a WordPress set with the required plugins.

And this WordPress set is defined in ServicePlans > ServicePlanName > Additional Services > WordPress Toolkit

However, after creating the subscription example.com in Domains > example.com > WordPress > Plugins can be found that plugins like Hello Dolly or Akismet Anti-Spam are also installed however they were not pre-selected.

Please add the CLI method to prevent the installation of such unnecessary for customer plugins.

  18. Retrieve the WordPress password and admin username of the customer

We'd like to auto-deploy some wordpress instances on our Plesk server. I've tested the Wordpress Toolkit, and it works great, but I have one problem : The Wordpress admin password isn't sent to the customer.

I know that we can read the password from the Plesk Interface, but I'd like our users to get their wordpress password without having them to log on into Plesk.

Please implement any solution to send the Wordpress password to the customer, e.g to get it trough the API call or to be able to sent the email notification directly from Plesk.

  20. Skip 2FA plugins when logging into Wordpress through the WP Toolkit login button

When the miniOrange 2 Factor Authentication (MFA) plugin is enabled Wordpress Toolkit provides a failed login attempt error and sends a notification before letting to insert MFA. It would be better if when logging in to WP Dashboard from Plesk UI there will be no failed login attempts when any mfa is enabled
