Add ability to obtain information about Backup Settings via CLI.
Please, add a feature to be able to check Backup manager settings (including Scheduled backup settings), server-wide and for the particular domain via CLI. It would be very convenient for server administration to get information about backup settings in one place: for example, if there are multiple domains with different settings.

Do not include the huge Plesk mobile log file in server backup
Since I installed the "Plesk mobile" extension, my daily server backup via Plesk (only configuration and e-mails) is much larger than before and gets larger every day! There is a log file called "MobileConnector.log" in that backup and this file currently is 150 MB in size (it increases by about 50 MB per month).
I would like to have an option to exclude this file. As it's part of an extension, this log file cannot be excluded via the checkbox "Exclude logfiles"! This option is not even visible, because I do not backup user files.

Allow direct access to Backup Manager from Files tab.
It's a nuisance having to go back to the main page to do a backup after uploading new or revised files.

Plesk Backup Manager - Local Storage used before transfer to FTP Server
I would like to suggest that it would be great if it's possible to split backups into multiple parts during the backup process.
I know the option -s or --split but actually, it's just split the backup in the location into multiple parts but during the backup process the local storage is still in use. If you got a Server with 200GB space and 150 GB are used I can't Backup the server because the command "Plesk bin pleskbackup server --output-file=ftp://user:pass@destination/backup_file" would create one file with round 120 GB in local storage.
I would suggest an option that…

add bzip2/xz compression support for backups
Would be nice to have the option to choose other compression formats for backups, especially bzip2 or xz. To reduce compression time, parallel implementations can be used (pbzip2 and pxz). Additionally there should be an option to set compression level (1-9).

Separate rotation for backups hosted in clouds
When on Plesk server there is not much space, and on clouds (like Amazon S3), there is a lot - the separate rotation for backups would be useful: to set on Plesk to rotate frequently, and in the cloud - far more rarely.

Backblaze B2 Backups
Hello,
Due to the nice facility offred by having a multiple bucket system, nothing would be easier and more secure than doing a backblaze B2 Backup. Also because of the competitive pricing.

Backup via SSHFS
We have huge amounts of Backup Data (currently around 450gb per file). The whole process using FTP takes around ~ 13 hours to complete. Trying to restore something is a big bottleneck for us. Restoring from FTP is ****, and we searched for alternatives.
We decided to give SSHFS a try by mounting /var/lib/psa/dumps to the remote Server and disconfigured the FTP Settings. The result is annoying. The Backup now takes around 2,5 hours, the Plesk Backend is really fast now and local space is not consumed anymore!
So i suggest you to give SSHFS a try. It is like…

Backup to FTP Step-By-Step to save local disk space
This helpdesk article has only negative reviews, which might imply that other users struggle with the same issue:
https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213391809-Backup-fails-with-error-Not-enough-free-disk-space-to-backup-selected-objectsRight now backing up to FTP means you need to have almost 50% disk space free. That means you can never use more than half the server storage you're paying for, otherwise you'll be unable to make a backup. Especially on AWS disk space is very expensive.
The issue exists because Plesk seems to utilize just plain zip commands with file split. Why not offer an additional backup method, where e.g. all Domains are backuped step-by-step / one-by-one to FTP?

Extended Backup Settings
Right now Plesk backup system is very limited to be honest, it's missing some key features, one thing i would like is to be able to controle backups way more then now, and have multiple locations to backup to.
1) Abillity to do multiple backups pr. day, option to controle what is backup at what time points, ex database backup at 6:00 12:00 18:00 and full backup 00:00.
2) Abillity to have multiple backup locations, with our barebone setup we have multiple backup locations, 2xFTP and S3 backup, Plesk is missing the option for multiple backup locations.

BTW, in Plesk 17.8 you can put backup to cloud and local storages.—

Exclude mailboxes for a specific domain from a backup
Hello,
While creating backup via Plesk control panel it would be great to have ability exclude email accounts of particular domain name, not all email accounts at once.
This is due to the fact that when the mail accounts are very large, it significantly increases the time to create a backup, and causes it's freezing as a result.Thanks.
