  1. Plesk functionality to add or select (compile) custom Nginx modules portfolio!

How about adding the ability to compile necessary modules for nginx right from the Plesk Web-GUI? It is complex due to systems differences, but Plesk environment is more or less well-known, and Plesk has its own repo, so, you could offer pre-compiled versions of Nginx, like + http2 or - pagespeed, etc.

  2. Switching Main PHP Version

Can you make it possible that we can switch Main PHP Version?
So that an other Version like 5.4 can run as an Apache Modul, like 7.0.

  4. Multiple PHP versions for php as Apache module

Currently multiple PHP versions are supported only in FastCGI/CGI modes.
Customer would like to be able to select PHP version when PHP execution mode is set to Apache module.

Could you please explain your desired workflow in more details? What is expected benefit of this feature? Actually mod_php can be only one for Apache and we should use multiple mod_php modules for replacing. Not sure that it is possible without Apache restarting, etc. Also switching mod_php can be only server wide. Why modern FastCGI/CGI, PHP-FPM modes are not enough for you?

UPD: You can even use fpm if you have Apache 2.4 version. So we are closing this request, since it does not contain any feature suggestions.

  5. Ignore Interface in NGINX and Apache Configuration

In case you have virtual interfaces and or additonal interfaces with separate ip addresses assigned, that you do not want to have in control of Plesk this does not work, as NGINX for example is always generated for ALL interfaces/ip addresses known to Plesk. Allow an option to disable IP-Adresses from the generation. Otherwise it happends, that NGINX does not start, when the second Interface/IP has something configured on port 80 or 443.

Question: How to bind nginx to only a specific IP? Never answered.

  6. External NGINX as AutoCDN

    Hi Plesk Team,

Why dont allow to customer to replicate their statics files, like jpg gif css js etc... from plesk to a external nginx configured as CDN?

This will improve web page, prevent overload the plesk servers from loading static files.

With a module that autosync files from customer to a pool of external nginx managed by plesk

We have already repair permission button in Plesk for Windows reconfigurator and have corresponding option for “repair” CLI utility in Linux. Could you please explain your desired workflow in more details and why already existed is not enough for you?

  11. EU Cookie Law.... blocks all

From 3 June, will be obligatory insert an alert/banner to inform users about cookies available in a website.
It would be a good idea to have a tool in Plesk that allow to block cookies for a specific domain/hosting (perfect for small web-sites that not have time or money to spend for legal consultancy).

  12. Support dynamic values for domain local php.ini in subscriptions

I suggest adding support for dynamic values like %domainname% in the subscription php settings. This allows admins to keep domain subscriptions in sync when needing domain specific php values that can be easily generated by Plesk.

Why add this to Plesk panel instead of the current domain template files? Domain template files are hard to handle and only work for php values when using php as an apache module. Moving a bunch of these dynamic values into the subscription php management allows administrators to apply values to php as CGI, Fast-CGI, PHP FPM and apache module without loosing sync with…

  13. Make the port of the HTTP(S) services configurable

I want to let the http and https services listen to different ports than 443 and 80. I want, for example, install SSLH to accept connections on 443 and forward them to the plesk nginx listening on port 8443 for a specific domain.

  17. Auto-Enable Full Nginx option

Hey guys, It would be excellent if we can have an option to auto-enable nginx completely for all websites that are created/added into the Plesk control panel.

Its a bit difficult to maintain server performance by having to manually enable Nginx for all website, especially when you have ongoing customers signing up.

This fix would be great and very efficient.

  19. Publish an ideal Server Tuning/Configuration Table so Users can get an best fit starter for different ranges of processor levels or usage

You should have a guide for ideal server configurations and settings which Users can adopt easily.

So if a server has 3 CPUs and 4Gigs of RAM and is running Wordpress sites of 2 Gigs

The recommended server settings are xxxx.....

Presently these settings are on forums and there area a gazillion contradictory advice.

Parallels is ideally placed to establish such guides in the context of the server management environment.
