  1. Disable/Enable access to plesk web interface

I want stop plesk web interface without side effects for the services. I only mean the access as client in the browser. I'm thinking about disabling the web interface via the shell to avoid the many login attempts, to increase security and if you need the web interface yourself, you can temporarily enable it via the shell.

    or

Here is already a feature "Restricting Administrative Access" per ip address. https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/plesk-administration/securing-plesk/restricting-administrative-access.59465/ Nice, but most of us have a dynamic ip address. So it would be nice if you could set the allowed IP(s) via the shell and delete old invalid IPs…

  2. Secure webmail with SSL automatically if it exists on example.com

Please provide a possibility to secure webmail automatically if webmail.example.com exists in Plesk.

This can be done by auto-selecting "Secure webmail on this domain" during a certificate creation for example.com.

As it currently stands, end users get confused by the feature.

The more Plesk can simplify this process for end-users, the less support will be required for my customers.

  3. In domain logs allow select all function in order to copy to firewall rules

This feature requests comes from having to manually copy and paste bad IP's from the domain log files. It would be a request that when you carried out a search for say POST /xmlrpc.php HTTP/1.0 or GET /wp-login.php HTTP/1.0 from brute force hacking or malware bots you can easily just select all, then paste this over to the block list in the Firewall rules.

To allow Plesk to have an independent admin user password for database, which won't be the same as the graphical user interface.

  5. Centralized SSL Certificate Support

I would like if you guys can add Centralized SSL Certificate Support in Plesk GUI, it would be easy to manage,
as I had added a UNC path (\172.16.0.11\shared-certificates) in my Plesk via command line but now I cannot switch back to local path (C:\shared-certificates) as it was configured with UNC path & if I add a local path via command line, it says that the UNC path is not available even though I am using local path.

Currently, ip_ban utility does not allow to manage jails, for example, RECIDIVE jail.

    https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/6174932-fail2ban-setting-findtime-per-jail

It is possible only via GUI

  7. Bind poppasd service to localhost only

Currently poppassd listens on all IPs. Due to that an intruder can connect to the service via 106.
Please implement binding of poppassd to localhost only.

  8. Enable excluding folders on Protected Directories

Right now it is not possible to use a protected domain on /, while using Let's Encrypt, as it also "protects" /.well-known.
Please add a general function to add single un-protected directories.

  9. Whitelist rkhunter warnings caused by Plesk

rkhunter security scan will always show security warnings caused by Plesk, as per https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001160954-What-Watchdog-warnings-may-be-safely-ignored

You should whitelist these warnings by default.

  10. Automate Abuse Reports to ASNs, from Plesk run Logs, According to pre-defined Scenarios, and Excluding White Listed IPs

    Hi,

After blocking full CIDR ranges for small to medium ISPs hackers used to attack our server, I manually block huge ranges of CIDR IPs of the big tech companies. This ISPs have so many IPs that FireWall might not be able to technically block.

I find it important, that big hosts would sweat, for hosting such hackers, and possibly not blocking them efficiently, mainly blocking payment methods they use.

Thus, I would very much would like lots of users to have an automatic tools enabling automatic Abuse reports (usign email or pre analyzed report forms), for pre-defined rules-set (i.e.,…

  11. Make more than one server-wide certificate available for selection in Hosting Settings

Currently, only the default certificate in Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates is globally available for domains to choose from Hosting Settings. Make it possible to select a server-wide certificate other than the default one.

  12. Apply SELinux policy for custom vhosts directory

Currently Plesk has predefined SELinux policies for default location of vhosts directory (/var/www/vhosts). If virtual hosts directory changed to custom one, it is needed to disable SELinux (set to permissive), for correct websites working capacity. It would be great to change transvhosts.pl script that policies for /var/www/vhosts will applies to custom vhost directory.

  14. Possibility to restrict Users when they login to access only emailadresses with their domainname

In my environment (account) I have several domains. I want to restrict signed in users to only have access to the emailadresses of their domain. Now, after login, they see and have access to all emailadresses of all domains in the account.

  15. User Role Permissions

Users with permissions to edit roles can edit rights that they do not own and create roles with rights that they do not own. It would be ideal if a user who has the permissions to edit roles can only change and assign rights that he owns.

  17. Individual Users should have access to setup their own Session Expiry Time on Plesk

Since Hosting providers use plesk on Shared Environments where users are forced to use the same session expiry time shared on hosting server for all shared clients. If Plesk can provide the logged in shared user to set their own Session Expiry time then it would be superb.

    Regards,
    Mody

  19. Force root ssh login to "without-password", with GUI option to "enable root login with password for 10 minutes"

    Twofold:
    1) Create a scheduled process that reconfigures /etc/ssh/sshd_config
-- if "PermitRootLogin" is enabled, change it to "without-password"

    2) Add an option in the GUI to allow ssh root login with password for 10 minutes, 30 minutes or 60 minutes

  20. add reseller management in Plesk Multi Server

Currently it is not possible to create a user in a domain and subscriptions. Why is this feature hidden in a Plesk Multi Server model. This basic functionality for hosters.
