1 voteThank you for your feature request. It can be challenging to perform a Joomla in-place update, but it will no be possible to automate it. Joomla itself does not provide an automated upgrade path and also clearly warns to take precautions. They also mention in their guide https://docs.joomla.org/Joomla_3.x_to_4.x_Step_by_Step_Migration/en that extensions must be checked individually.
As not even Joomla themselves provide an automated upgrade-path this feature cannot be added at this time. Maybe in the future such in-place upgrades from one major version to another will become possible.

MS Expression Web 4 was published in 2006 and end of life in 2012. This includes the MS Frontpage extensions for servers. Neither are these products maintained since then, nor can they be downloaded from the original sources. Plesk understands that there may still be some users who cherish this software, but focuses on more current products in its further development. For that reason we must respectfully decline your suggestion.

Mastodon
As people are fleeing an erratic Twitter the free, decentralized but federated alternative Mastodon gains popularity. Support of Mastodon as a one-click-installable server application would be very nice.

I understand that you wish to use the Mastodon server-side application along with Plesk. However, with Mastodon being a third-party server-side component and not being a part of Plesk, an extension to work with Plesk would be needed to develop by the makers of the Mastodon network. Maybe you can suggest to them to look into this. Plesk offers an API for extensions so that they can integrate their product with Plesk and get it certified as a Plesk extension.

Add the ability to log/monitor incoming traffic for a certain application/port
Currently I have a Node JS Application built for a website example.com responding to CoAP Requests on a customer port, e.g. 5678.
It would be great if I could log or monitor incoming UDP requests for this port similar to how the 'Apache SSL/TLS access' show.1 voteThis request did not become popular through the years. We must decline it.

Disable PHP's open.base_dir restriction by default
Every configured hosting/website gets their proper own user with their own permissions. If you run your website with the PHP-FPM handler, the processes properly run with this very user.
Why is there still open.base_dir restrictions applied by default? I don't really see the point.Why am I asking? Enabling open.basedir has a massively (!) negative impact on performance. PHP's internal realpath cache is automatically disabled when open.basedir is activated which slows down all the file operation calls tremendously.
As the user permissions are properly set up, this is imho a missed opportunity for free performance gains.Sources:

4 votesPlesk acknowledges that there has been a discussion in the PHP community to remove open_basedir from newer PHP versions, but even PHP developers came to the conclusion that it should not be removed. Yes, there are performance impacts, but with all types of security software like network filters, e.g. iptables (and Fail2Ban log analyzer), ModSecurity and antivirus solutions this is just normal and expected. Plesk puts security first, and if there are options to make a site more secure, we'll always prefer these options. open_basedir may not be the best security feature, but it adds some security. This request has not gained much popularity during the past years either. For these reasons we must decline it.

Add Perl support for Plesk for Windows
Since Plesk supports execution of Perl CGI scripts on Linux there should also be support for Plesk for Windows too.
It would be a good approach to include extended support for free Perl solutions, like Strawberry Perl.
