Anyone know anything about "CloudBacko"?
Not shilling, and don't know if this is right forum, but does anyone know anything about this new Cloud storage firm?
They're offering 100 Gb free, which is quite good.However, what I really like about CloudBacko(http://free.cloudbacko.com/?r=1d), more than any of the other offerings, is that your data is also on your disk. So if your internet goes down, you've still got your files and you can sync later.

Wordpress installations: show complete path instead of just /httpdocs
Maintaining wordpress installations safe has really become a major part of the job.
But when the version is too old, or there are issues, it's very hard to find exactly where to look because they all are listed just with the path /httpdocs, and instead of the domain the subscriber is reported.
Reporting the complete server path would really be a minor change, but would help a lot.1 voteIf you see /httpdocs instead of installation name, it means this WordPress installation is older than WP 3.4. WordPress Toolkit cannot work with installations outdated to such a degree. Please upgrade them to at least 3.4 (preferrably 3.6) via WP itself to fix this.

filezilla
Let's say I wanted to use another FTP program like FileZilla to FTP my work to my account, because I literally have thousands of files to upload sometimes and Plesk is INCREDIBLY slow.
I've tried entering the IP address, username, and password as provided here, but the error I get is (530) Cannot connect to server. Problem Configure SMTP dont work

Most likely you confused us (software vendor) with your hosting provider, who are responsible for setting specific limits.
Our software would let 400Mb or any other limit set for email accounts, yet hosting provider may choose whatever limit they prefer.

Improve plesk 12 as it's f*cking sh1t
Back ups for full system restore have too many conflicts
Adding domains freezes and fails
Adding hosting freezes and fails
Back up from FTP is only good for small back ups (no real world)In general my experience of plesk 12 is very poor. I have wasted days building and rebuilding it and migrating. My level of frustration at the moment is very high. No issues with plesk 10 and 11. I have no confidence that I can run my business on plesk 12 whatsoever.

It is a pity you had such a horrible experience. However both adding domain and back up will work in Plesk 12 the same way as in Plesk 10 and 11 (where you had no issues) with maybe some improvements.
Full server restore indeed may have conflicts which you are to resolve, picking what to preserved and what to rewrite. It is required to recover lost data without losing or overwriting recent changes. If that is disturbing for you, than you can take a risk of losing recent changes and just overwrite everything.
Additionally, Plesk 12 would offer you so called “granular restore” where you can restore a single selected item (up to a single file) with no need to resolve conflicts.
I would suggest checking your hardware or virtual server health to address “freezing and fails” issue. And you may want to check
network performance to address … -

Delete temp. backup files!
Please clean up temp. backup files from the dumps folder.
Failed backups (to FTP) remain in the dumps folder filling up the storage space.This should not have to happen: please remove these files!
I am running a workaround cronjob script to delete them every day:

Thank you for your input. We do not consider this as a feature request but as a normal way for the backups: unnecessary or temporary files should be removed automatically. We already work on this direction, and all known bugs were delivered for Plesk Onyx 17.5 and Plesk Onyx 17.8.
Do not forget that on “Tools & Settings → Backup settings” there is a separate option “Save backups in the server storage if the upload to FTP fails” – it controls a part of this behavior.
I would recommend reporting each case with unnecessary backup files to our support department, we will check it carefully and fix. -

Documentation is out of date - have to jump to different pages to complete configuration
configuration is swapped (apparently) into different panels - makes it hard for someone just coming to PLESK. Database support is 2008

Setting primary NS server in SOA record
For now the first registered NS Entry of all listed NS Entries will be the primary NS. Without knowing this it's really difficult to find out which NS will be the primary NS. The outcome of this is a wild change of NS Entries and hoping that the correct entry will be the primary. It would be great if you actually can choose the primary, at least an information what and why will be the primary.
