  1. SSL Certificate changes should be reflected in Action Log

    SSL Certificate changes are currently not logged in Action Log in any way. Such changes should be logged as they are part of hosting settings.
    Yet, they should reflect the certificate details (e.g. "Certificate A was changed to certificate B").

  2. Off site backup on the fly. Currently offsite backup needs half the disc to be empty to work

    Currently the Plesk backup routine to FTP off-site or Dropbox is clumsy in the it makes a tar file (not compressed as far as I can see) on the server BEFORE sending it to the remote storage server. So to back up 20gb you need at another 20gb free on the original server to be backed up. The programme should be able to tar compress send with a small cache on the fly. I cannot use the PLESK back-up as I am 60% full on the VPS

  3. Support for Helicon Ape

    Helicon Ape is a great tools for the support of .htaccess with IIS. I was really surprised, that Plesk does not support it yet.

    We like to move from WSP to Plesk, but we need support For Helicon Ape.

    Plesk should allow to edit .htaccess from the UI.

  7. Autosave a shadow copy (local storage perhaps) of an ongoing edited file to prevent data loss in case of session timeout

    My suggestion lies on the fact that I indeed lost my work on a php file that was open in the code editor, when I absent-mindedly pushed the "Apply" button on the text editor and realized with horror that my admin session timed out and I was returned to the unmodified version of the file once logged back in.

    It would be convenient to autosave in the background ongoing changes of a text file that is bound to change once opened in the editor, in order to prevent data loss.

  8. In this Free SSL era, customers should be able to install SSL certificates with API, for automation (like cPanel)

    Two issues I am facing with Plesk API for SSL certificate:

    1. The end user (customer) should have permission to manage SSL/TLS Certificates with API: The customer can install an SSL certificate with the GUI but not with API. My shared hosting provider has hidden the Let's Encrypt SSL option. I can install a LE SSL with the GUI. But manually renewing the SSL certificate every two months is a time-consuming task and if I forget to renew, the SSL will expire. If Plesk allows the end user (customer) to install SSL certificates with the API, I can easily automate the…

  10. Add support for Application Settings/Environment variables for .NET web apps

    It looks like you can add applications settings/enviroment variable for Node and PHP application.

    But there is no way of doing the same for .NET/.NET Core web apps.

    Today you need to use the File Manager to open appsettings.json, but that is a really bad solution, and a new deployment can/will overwrite it anyway.

    Only connection strings can be added, but it´s a big miss to not be able to add settings/variable for the current environment, for example API keys, SMTP settings or other applications settings.

  11. Plesk Migrator extension should be able to migrate server settings

    Plesk Migrator should have options for migrating Server Settings. For example, have a checkbox for migrating the server timezone, Server hostname, DNS Template, etc.

  12. Add functionality to manage Imunify360 extension on a per subscription/customer basis

  14. Add IIS App Pool start/stop and recycle permissions separately from enable permission

    At the moment there is only one permission for IIS App Pool Management.

    It would be interesting if a subscription had the permission to start/stop or recycle their dedicated App Pools, but not to create new ones.

    In this scenario, there would be an option to provide the subscription with a single App Pool, and let them manage it, but not to create new App Pools.

    Thank you for your feature request. We will consider the possibility of its implementation if it becomes sufficiently popular and in demand.

  15. Prevent users to be able to remove files from file manager

    Add the possibility to prevent/block any file or directory removal from within the File Manager in Plesk by the subscription/domain users.

    An example that could be applied is the same as it can be applied already for ProFTP config files as follows:

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/.cagefs>
    <Limit ALL>
    DenyAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/.cl.selector>
    <Limit ALL>
    DenyAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/error_docs>
    <Limit DELE>
    DenyAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/httpdocs>
    <Limit RMD>
    DenyAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/httpdocs/*>
    <Limit RMD>
    AllowAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

  16. MySQL change the charset

    Allow to chose another charset when creating a database or do not set one.

    Plesk does use:
    "CREATE DATABASE databasename /*!40101 default charset=utf8 */"
    And with this does overwrite when the MySQL config was changed to use utf8mb4 for example.

    Or allow to choose a charset on creation or create DBs with:
    "CREATE DATABASE databasename"

  17. Add functionality for Watchdog to monitor extension services

    Currently, the Watchdog component can not monitor extension services.
    Suggest to add extensions services (e.g. Immunify 360) to the list of the services scanned by Watchdog.

  18. Allow configuring Smart Updates to check process such as Checkout

    Allow configuring Smart Updates to check process such as the Checkout when Wordpress is used as an online store (WooCommerce) so it ensures that performing the upgrade won't break the checkout process from beginning to end.

    And/Or allow the ability to configure custom testing scenarios.

  19. Automatically synchronize folders created via outlook in Plesk Premium Email Kolab

    Since Kolab Syncroton does not enable sync on newly created folders, it should be enabled manually.

    They would need to select the ActiveSync device ID, click to enable the synchronization of the folder and save the changes.

    While it was nice if there will be an ability to do so automatically.

  20. Add multiple Git users with SSH Key authentication

    We are waiting for this feature in Plesk: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/18772873

    We've to apply manually the commands described in here, which is not the desired user experience: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006103313

    Said that, I'm creating this request because it would be a great step if Plesk would also allow Git users with SSH Key authentication. There isn't any workaround available, which is quite frustrating that after 2 years Plesk didn't implement it.
