Include roundcube settings in backup
it would be great when the content of roundcubemail, like contacts and identities can be included in the backup. It would make life easier in case of restoring a customer who uses only the webmail feature for mail.
Thank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.
Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

Add an option in the backups that also allows to restore the native roundcube contacts as well as the automatically saved ones. This should also be functional for when one performs migrations from other panels or mail servers. So that it allows migrating not only emails but also contacts. Currently, to migrate an email account, the contacts must be backed up manually and imported into roundcube.
Thank you so much

Yes, this should be added to the backup, even if it can't be automatically restored. Uggh.

@Bitpalast GmbH, we do the same thing :) But I would say it's a bit of a workaround. Would be nicer if its included in the default backup.

We've been exporting the Roundcube database manually into a subscription account daily so that these are being backed up along with the daily full server backup that Plesk does.

I don't know why, but at the moment only databases which are in a subscription are also backed up. But there are other databases like Roundcube which are not backed up. Upon restoring a backup into Plesk, all Roundcube data for all users are gone, including address books, settings etc. This should be changed.
