Add the ability to enable or disable Plesk Premium Email for particular mailboxes
Currently, Plesk Premium Email can be enabled only for a subscription.
But Plesk Premium Email license differ by a number of users, so, to not exceed the license limit, it'll be handy to define which particular mailboxes on a subscription have the ability to use Plesk Premium Email
Thank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.
Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

It would be useful to be able to determine which mailboxes use this functionality.
If not, you are required to configure it in all subscription mailboxes. And if the subscription has a number of mailboxes greater than the license, it is a problem.

Very essential! I have almost 100 email addresses but only 5 need these features.... cannot afford to buy 100 license's when only 5 are needed. It is not possible to use the easy work around as these email addresses all belong to the same domain and therefore the same subscription!

Great! It would be the best way to optimize the service. Both for end users and providers.

Hi,
you don't understand that this is a 100% commercial decision. Plesk would sell fewer licenses. Plesk never implements useful features that come with financial disadvantages.
It would also be very easy to integrate a sogo, for example. But the money, my friends.
The licensing model is rubbish, but Plesk will never change it. -

This was first suggested two years ago. Has there been any further consideration given to adding this important feature? As already stated there are email accounts which are required for automated/system tasks but do not require premium features (calendar, etc.). To have a licence applied to these is a waste and an unreasonable expense.

It is unworkable to have to provide every mailbox with a license in one go. I currently have a customer who wants to provide 5 of their 36 mailboxes (in 1 subscription) with the options provided within Plesk premium mail. To be able to answer 1 customer in this, the entry fee excluding tax is already $ 253.43 a year. Now 30 licenses are not enough. To be able to supply only this customer I am forced to pay $50.68 x5 mailboxes and then be left with a surplus of 45 licenses. This cannot be the intention. Hopefully, this will be picked up in a new update, otherwise, I suspect that the costs will not outweigh the competition and/or the alternatives.

Very keen to see this feature added. We have test mailboxes and therefore do not need to have the premium options for those (calendar, etc)... Thanks!

This is one of the elementarily important functions that urgently need to be added. There are many function accounts that do not require premium email.

Calling a premium offering but not allowing flexibility to decide which of your mailboxes has access to the premium feature set seems like a huge miss in terms of user testing. And the fact that this was reported almost 2 years ago with no movement is downright shameful for a paid option.

How is this not implemented by default? Not being able to choose WHICH mailbox gets the premium account makes it very infuriating, especially when you have 30 email addresses, but you only want 5 of them with the premium mail. Customers look at me dumbfounded, when I tell them they need 30 licenses for 5 only 5 accounts. Please fix this soon, thank you very much.

I cancelled my subscription due to this issue two days into my trial. Has zero value if all email addresses have to covered.

Its disgusting that Premium AV FREE only limits 14 mailbox, I was only aware of this a few years into using plesk... There is no indication of this what so ever. So how many virus caused damaged to my poor users.... thanks Plesk!

If I have some administrative mailboxes and some personal mailboxes, I just need Premium Mail for the personal ones, but the license has to be bought for all mailboxes...
So please, make the feature to choose the mailboxes for usage of Premium Mail. -

That would be a very important feature!!!
Because one client needs the premium and the other one not and maybe one client will pay more then the other one. -

It would be nice to give each subscription a specific amount of licenses.
So you could specify in the subscription that the user can create 10 Mailboxes but has only 5 Plesk Premium Email licenses, then on the creation of a mailbox the user can choose between the premium and free option. If there already 5 premium mailboxes premium can´t be selected.
Attached an image as an example for the subscription setting:

Yes, please add the functionality to apply a license against a users individual mailbox. Depending whether the user has been granted full license access, once logged in, they get the free/paid features etc.
