Add ClamAV as module in Plesk to protect better the server. Thank you Parallels Team.
Is easy to use.

Those votes are not the correct indicator of how many people need this feature, it is impossible only 1271 to want that, and this feature is been requested from 2013, just people not spending their time to vote. Please proceed to the implementation.

ClamAV and amavid-new should be included in Plesk ASAP! It would be a very important feature!

Clam AntiVirus should be an extension like the other Anti-Virus Apps.

Surprising that 8 years later and with over 1.200 votes Plesk has not implemented this yet.

Clam AntiVirus (ClamAV) is a free, cross-platform and open-source antivirus software toolkit able to detect many types of malicious software, including viruses. One of its main uses is on mail servers as a server-side email virus scanner.
So why charge an extra almost £11 per month for basic functionality while there already is a monthly license fee. This feels like a scam!

This is a basic feature that should have been included by default.

@Marcel Schiwek, aside Plesk and cPanel which are owned by same company, there are other alternatives, a quick search reveals quite a few, there is no need to list them here, advertising has no point in a feature request. This is for Plesk to improve their features towards the existing clients/new clients.
Some are free and offer same basic features Plesk/cPanel offer, sure, some have a less friendly UI, but there are some that look quite good and some that offer even more features, they're not the only two control panels competing for clients in 2023.

Agree totaly!
But whats the alternative to plesk? -

Think everyone knows that Plesk dev prioritises allocation of time to make money, but people do expect the software to have some minimum of features added to it, especially when based on software that is free instead of making it a paid addon only.
People that vote for features on this platform, don't vote for Plesk to implement them as a paid feature, but to some extent as a feature of Plesk itself for the value of the monthly fee that they already pay, sure, add a paid version under more advanced features of it.
But having less features in the panel for higher monthly fees, it just means people will start choosing other providers over them.

Although ClamAV alone is a free software available under GPLv2, but development efforts on its integration with Plesk are not. Since Plesk is a commercial software, they prioritize allocation of time for features development by taking into account the possible money income from them.
Since they're already making money from paid antivirus extensions fees commission. You may imagine how they prioritize the developing of alternative feature that is expected to be free / basic and will definitely decrease sales of paid options a lot and cut their income.

You increase the fee this month… 2 Dollars more… so I think you can now integrate this feature, that is free for you, Plesk!

Indeed, everything moving towards cloud pricing packs, open-source OS like Centos died, and Ubuntu introduced a pro subscription.

Ionut Bochis commented
Well, if the trend is right, after 10+ years it will be implemented.. but likely in the cloud pricing pack or something similar, pay per feature is becoming a reality, not sure for what the license is anymore, I guess for bugfixes and small icon re-design.

HA! So they make less money? This will never happen (clearly).

@Tobias they only did it as a result of this idea on here (ClamAV being free) and saw how popular it was. So they did it but then I'm assuming upon realising how popular it would be, monetized it thinking they'd get a cash windfall. Plesk claims on other ideas that they'll only implement something if popular and voted for (conveniently enables them to leave products insecure, lacking or buggy), this idea is one of the oldest and most voted but not implemented so the plus side of this is that it highlights their hypocrisy.

they dont want to implement it as they have a addon sentinel someting that has clamav in it and if they implement it then the addon will prob lose ppl.. so i think its sadly a business thing.
