Ability to add CNAME for Domain Root
Please add the possibility to add a CNAME for rootdomain instead of an A-record, so-called CNAME flattening feature.

Here is what bind9 says about name flattening
https://www.isc.org/blogs/cname-at-the-apex-of-a-zone/Long story short bind9 don't support name flattening becouse it breaks the zone file system.
If you want cname like feature you are asking for alias name then you can use power dns see

So the cname flattening aka alias record is not a standard yet it's still in draft. If it becomes a standard then I think plesk will implement it or bind will implement it. If you need this feature use something like cloudflare.
