Add limits to backup scheduling
We have some users abusing the Plesk backup functionality. For example, they schedule hourly backups with sites that are multiple gigabytes in size. When we have a couple of those users, our servers are running scheduled backups all day causing 100% IO-wait load.
It would be great if Administrator can limit the frequency of user backups, eg. a limit of once a day, once a week, once a month.
We currently disable user backup functionality to prevent our machines running backups all day.
Thank you for your input, we will consider this functionality in upcoming Plesk releases.

Is there any update about the provision in plesk?

I'd like to add my support for this. What I would like to see is the ability to disallow access to the backup scheduler via the Service Plan.
Our case: We schedule daily full backups via the Plesk Backup Scheduler and so we don't really want our customers going and adding additional scheduled backups, all they really need is the ability to run backups manually.

As this is causing quite a lot maintaining work which can be avoided easy please provide limits/rotation.
