Anything new plans there at plesk? The workaround by adding the subdomain aliases to DNS and use ServerAlias in the Apache config doesn't work if you use Let's Encrypt because then the Aliases are not available there. Please add the Alias functionality to the subdomains or allow adding these aliases manually in the Let's Encrypt gui.

I don't understand this is not implemented yet. I use a single symfony app that handle multiple domains and subdomains. I can add domains and subdomains in the subscription and use the same document root, but I have many nginx and apache rules, and I have to copy and modify each one every time I want to modify a rule. I can also use the server_name rule of nginx but then I can not automatically add the (sub)domains in the let’s encrypt certificate. The wildcard option is a good option, but not in my case. Sometime I have sub.sub.domain.com, and this domain is not included in the certificate. The best way to solve this problem is to add the possibility to add a (sub)domain alias that have exacted the same rules as his parent. And when the panel create the certificate he can add the aliases in the certificate automatically (The limit is 100 per certificate). I don’t understand this discussion is open since 2014.

I actually found that is possible to add a subdomain alias by just Domains > Add Alias > input your alias ignoring the "www." label, like "subdomain.domain.fld". That's it.

@Please include this simple feature!!! @Plesk just need to modify the validation of the form I think, it's a standard option for apache2 and nginx!!!!!!!

Aliases for LE only work if the subdomain is registered as "domain", hence punching up the domain counter.

Please make it possible to add aliases for subdomains by the subdomain definition of Plesk (not DNS definition).
Right now it's only possible to add aliases do "plesk domains" and not "plesk subdomains".

I updated the extension to Let's Encrypt 2.0.0-21 and do not see any options to add aliases. I tried renewing existing domain and also deleting Let's Encrypt SSL and replacing with self-signed and then re-installing Let's Encrypt SSL and still no alias options. I even uninstalled Let's Encrypt extension and re-installed. No joy.

Would adding ServerAlias to the Apache config not do the job here?

This is a simple feature. I hope that made a short time.

Plesk is not a GUI for dig. It is not useful. I will create redirects using my hosting provider panel to not waste precious domains if I haven't unlimited domains Plesk license.

Please add this Feature and recognize alias Domains in Lets encrypt extension

AND: wildcards are impossible! not even with this workaround.
