Starting Plesk 11.5, a change in DNS template can be applied to all domains exactly for this purpose. My understanding is that you tried older version

Not a wise idea to change this via DNS templates. End users might have already adjusted certain records. By applying the dns template this will overwrite the end users dns records.

When I change the details in the template, it does not change the details in the existing zones... I have to do this manually in each domain through the plesk panel. I use Windows DNS...
Domains created after I have changed the template are fine... it's just existing domains. It would be good to have a 'bulk' reset to default etc...
