The new security option for plesk 12 is Fail2Ban, but it is only for Linux version.
There is an opensorce for windows.

(Foreword: fail2ban does not work on Windows for MS SQL Server)
When database remote connections are allowed from any host, there are numerous failed login (hacking) attempts.
Such attempts could be blocked (similar to 'Preventing DoS attacks by IIS dynamic IP restriction' in Websites & Domains) by configurations/settings like:
* Blocking an IP after n failed login attempts.
* Manually block/unblock an IP like a Blacklist/Whitelist IP option.
* Unblocking can be auto after a configurable time span e.g. 30 min, 6 hours, 24 hours etc.
* Database server logs in Plesk with filtering options.
* Reporting mechanism in Plesk by IP for count of blocks, unblocks with timestamp etc. -

The Security Policy screen has Fail2ban on linux systems but it is missing from Windows systems. Suggest integrating the functionality of the following product into the Plesk Control panel on Windows servers:
http://rdpguard.comIt blocks brute force attacks on MySQL, SQL Server, SMTP, FTP, and RDP, which means it does everything that Fail2ban does. There is no version of Fail2Ban on Windows server and the above product is the ONLY thing currently available that even comes close to its functionality.
