  1. Grant the permission to manage only the WordPress Toolkit to additional subscription users

We want to create an additional user assigned to a specific user role providing only permission to manage WordPress Toolkit, but this is not possible in Plesk.

In order to allow an additional user to manage WordPRess Toolkit, it's required to grant permission to "Create and manage sites". This permission allows to the additional user to modify as well the Web Hosting Access, this means that the additional user can modify the password for the owner of the subscription, and we don't want this. We want a restricted environment for this additional user, so they can only manage WordPress Toolkit…

  2. Organize WordPress sites into groups for easy managing

We manage Wordpress Sites for our Customers in different Levels, like managed Bronze-, Silver- or Gold-Level.
If we can group the Wordpress-Sites, it will be easy to select all Gold-managed Sites for Updates, Optimisations, etc.
A field for comments would also be fine.

  3. Be able to enable all security options from WordPress Toolkit on all instances via CLI

Be able to enable all security options recommended by the WordPress Toolkit on all instances via CLI so that it would save customers' time as they would not need to login to the Panel and select all of them manually on all instances.

  4. Add option to exclude files from the WordPress Toolkit security check

Made possible exclude files from the WordPress Toolkit security check. For example, exclude files for assigning default permissions.

  5. Modify the email sent when a new WordPress site is created

We need to modify the email that is sent to customers, when a new WordPress site is created. I am attaching an example of the email:

Your new WordPress site has been successfully set up at:

    https://<site>/wordpress

You can log in to the administrator account with the following information:

    Username: created_user
Password: The password you chose during installation.
    Log in here: https://<site>/wordpress/wp-login.php

We hope you enjoy your new site. Thanks!

  6. pre-configured wp-admin.php file

Add possibility to have a pre-configured wp-admin.php file for WordPress installation for example in WordPress sets (Wordpress > Sets).

  7. Add a migration tool to WP Toolkit from other software installation platforms (Installatron / Softaculous)

We've been using Installatron for ages, but WP Toolkit has become a really powerful tool over the last couple of years. While we can work on integrating our systems with WP Toolkit directly, one major obstacle is moving clients over from one system to the other - including their backups / update settings / etc.

I'd love to find a way to make migrations over to the WP Toolkit seamless!

  8. wordpress tabs

I would like to suggest an extra tab with only the plugins/themes which can be updated.
Checking what an "update all" does before hitting that link is a drag when one has pages full of plugins... Same for themes.

  9. Create an extension that allows one-click JetPack installs

Similar to CloudFlare and BoldGrid, it would be great if there was a paid/subscription extension that allowed me to offer WordPress customers one-click installation of the JetPack (https://jetpack.com/) Personal or Premium plugin (with a negotiated volume or subscription rate).

Perhaps it could also allow customers to upgrade to Professional at their own cost.

My use case: I want to advertise that JetPack Premium is included with all WordPress hosting plans. However, they do not have any volume pricing, and a "one-click" plugin would be nice to handle the logistics.

  10. Allow Wordpress Toolkit feature - administrative settings

We enforce keeping Wordpress up-to-date and would like to see the option to disable the "no updates" updating option in the Wordpress Toolkit. This would allow us to offer our customers the Security fixes only (minimum) option or all updates (maximum) update option.

  11. wordpress migration filter for sites/plugins or themes with update

In the wordpress migration tools, I would like to see a switch/option to show only the plugins/themes/sites with updates.
In a few hundred plugins it's unclear which 3 or 4 are actual having an update.
Or, as an alternative, give the update marker its own column so I can sort them together.

  12. More Improvements for WordPress Toolkit: Bulk remove/clone UI (and command-line support)

    • Option for "bulk remove" instances (included all wp-content folder)

    • Option for bulk "clone" a WP instance to multiple subdomains/domains or subdirs

Of course, also include support for clone/remove instances using command-line support (https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/plesk-administration/wordpress-toolkit-in-plesk.73563/)

  13. Add functionality to install, modify and manage wordpress or joomla via API

Right now you can set a service plan to have WordPress or Joomla pre-installed with any new subscriptions, however the installation data such as admin usernames, passwords, site titles are randomized more so if the subscription/domain is setup via API. I think it could be nice if there was an option to install them with custom data or customize them via API. such that when installing via API, i can explicitly set the site title, admin username and passwords, database usernames and passwords etc.

  14. Plugin Set - add after installation and combining

plugin set: Combine and After-install -
It would be nice, to add a complete plugin-set to an existing WP installation.

further it would be also nice to combine sets. so it would be possible to build such sets as:
    - basic set
    - security set
    - seo set

    • Photoset

    • seller/ e-commerce set

    and so on

    Thanks

  16. wordpress toolkit disable auto update

Plesk Web Admin version comes with a limited WP Toolkit.

It updates WP automatically and the option to deactivate the autoupdate is blocked because of licensing.

I understand that to handle updates from Plesk one should buy a Toolkit license but for the basic free version it should be possible do disable updates.

    Thank you.

  17. Allow configure the Auto-Update settings of WP Toolkit at the Service Plan

Allow configuring the Auto-Update settings of WP Toolkit based on the service plan or the Subscription.

This would allow configuring the Auto-Update settings desired to a certain amount of Subscriptions globally at once.

    For example:
    Service Plan 1
    Update Wordpress > Yes
    Update Plugins > Yes
    Update Themes > Yes

    Service Plan 2
    Update Wordpress > Yes
    Update Plugins > Yes
    Update Themes > No

    etc...

  19. Allow Plugin sets to add plugins from wordpress.org catalog via WordPress Toolkit CLI

Please, implement a feature for adding plugins to plugin sets from wordpress.org catalog via WordPress Toolkit CLI

The CLI command 'plesk ext wp-toolkit --sets -operation add-plugin' requires a plugin to first be installed either in GUI or CLI using 'plesk ext wp-toolkit --plugins'.

The issue here is that the 'plesk ext wp-toolkit --plugins' command is currently unable to install plugins from wordpress.org in the same way that you can via the GUI.

As an example, look at this set which contains 2 plugins, one added using the command 'plesk ext wp-toolkit --plugins -operation add -source-url https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/w3-total-cache.0.9.7.zip'; and the other…

  20. WordPress Toolkit: Reseller Plans to use individual sets

A a reseller I would like to be able to create my own specific plug-in 'sets' for my WordPress customers. Normally this should be done at this level, not by the 'top level' administrator.

Maybe it is possible to use the same tab and visualize created sets from resellers with an icon.
