  4. Implement some basic optimisations

Like the wp-cron feature released recently it would be useful to have other functionality like
    - Warn if not using InnoDB
    - Clear out and limit post revisions
    - Disable revisions
    - Cleanup autoload options
    - Cleanup sessions
    - Image crushing

  5. Link WP Toolkit notifications/error pop-up messages to the corresponding website

Notifications/error messages in the popup windows have no reference to the affected domain/s.
It would be helpful if you included the name of the affected domains in the popup messages.

  6. Enhancing the visibility of protection status in WordPress Toolkit

Recently, Plesk added a vulnerability status feature to the WordPress Toolkit, which is a great step forward. However, both the vulnerability status and the protection status are currently accessed through the same link, making it harder to find the protection details quickly.

It would benefit users, especially those less familiar with these features, if Plesk were to separate these into two distinct links. This way, the protection status would be more visible and easier to access, helping users stay informed about the security of their WordPress installations without extra steps.

For example, the current "Security: Fix vulnerabilities" entry in the…

  10. Hide Caching (nginx) option in WP-Toolkit

The controls in the Tools section of WP-Toolkit should be customizable to allow hiding Caching (nginx) so that customers do not enable it randomly. The ability to enable nginx caching should still be available from Apache & nginx settings.

Thank you for your idea! We understand that this idea originates from the fact that customers sometimes enable nginx-caching without realizing what this option does to their website. Potentially creating issues with their own website.

We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it becomes popular.

Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

  11. Search/filter for vulnerable plugins/themes in Wordpress Toolkit

I would like to know if it would be possible to filter in WPTK so that only the sites with Vulnerabilities/updates are shown. Both for Plugins and Themes.
Searching for Vulnerable or Update does not show any results.

  12. panel.ini setting to select 127.0.0.1 or localhost for WPT WordPress installations

When using CloudLinux's alt-php versions and when using Plesk's php version management facility instead of CloudLinux PHP Selector, the default path to mysql.sock is not set, or in some cases incorrectly set to /tmp/mysql.sock.

Any php script, including WordPress, that is set to use "localhost" to connect to the database will then fail to connect. This can cause severe problems with the WordPress Toolkit.

If, instead of localhost, the host address is set to 127.0.0.1, php uses a network connection instead of trying to connect to mysql.sock, and all is well. Naturally this assumes that mysql/mariadb listens on 127.0.0.1 but…

  15. Add global option to control default value of "Search Indexing Enabled" and "Debugging" for newly created site

We've WordPress development company and use Plesk for managing lots of staging servers for projects under development.
All domains are created automatically via API as part of the project's start process, and, of course, all instances that are under development should not be indexed during the development stage (as it will affect the page index of the site in production).
By default, "Search Indexing" option is enabled, and this is quite inconvenient and error prone for us (as it requires manual setup of the created instance).
Adding global server-wide configuration option for WP Toolkit that will control such default behavior…

For now, the only way to manage WordPress Smart Updates notifications is to enable/disable them at all under Tools & Settings > Notifications > WordPress application updates.

  17. add an ability to hide "Current password" field with Wordpress Administrator's password in Customer's panel

When being logged in as a customer in Plesk, it is possible to see the Wordpress Administrator's credentials.
It is required to hide the administrator's password for security reasons and let the customers login to WP Dashboard anly via the additional user account, added via the WP Dashboard itself.

  19. Add a migration tool to WP Toolkit from other software installation platforms (Installatron / Softaculous)

We've been using Installatron for ages, but WP Toolkit has become a really powerful tool over the last couple of years. While we can work on integrating our systems with WP Toolkit directly, one major obstacle is moving clients over from one system to the other - including their backups / update settings / etc.

I'd love to find a way to make migrations over to the WP Toolkit seamless!

  20. Preset the option to block XML-RPC requests for new WordPress installations

    Hello!
It would be nice to have a feature where one can select XML-RPC to be blocked for all newly installed WordPress websites installed via the WordPress Toolkit in Plesk.
At the moment, only the option to preset disabled wp-cron.php is available, but no such option is present for blocking requests to XML-RPC.
The customers never use it, but also do not block it from their end and it is a hassle to do it manually for every new WP site.
Would it be possible to add such a feature to the WP Toolkit settings?
