Always add headers to mail checked by SpamFilter with Plesk installed on Windows OSes
For now SpamAssassin on Plesk for Windows does not add any headers to mail messages which were processed by it and not identified as spam. It would be good feature to add header showing that SpamAssassin actually processed this messages to all mail messages, even not spam one.
This could be helpful in order to monitor SpamAssassin functionality to understand if it works in general or not. Plus, some Spam checkers may show that mail inside mailbox were not checked at all, which is concerning.5 votesThank you for your input! Don't Auto-Replay when X-Auto-Response-Suppress is set (RFC3834)
In order to comply with RFC3834 the auto replay function should consider the X-Auto-Response-Suppress header. Also not replaying to mail with Auto-Submitted: auto-generated would be nice.

Implement Dovecot LMTP
Implement Dovecot LMTP.
Currently LDA is used for mail local delivery.
LMTP has a better performance and using it allows to avoid "Inotify instance limit for user (UID popuser) exceeded, disabling. Increase /proc/sys/fs/inotify/maxuserinstances" issues.5 votesThank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

Allow a@example.com only to send mail to example.com
Allow a@example.com only to send mail to example.com
5 votesThis feature request has been reviewed and despite the explanation we are having difficulties understanding what exactly is meant. Is this about sending mails from the server or is this about receiving mails that are addressed to a mailbox on the server? Could you please describe this in more detail who is sender, who is recipient and what you would like to exclude from happening and why?

remote smartermail ssl
if smartermail is local install you can create a SSL for webmail. This doesn't work with remote smartermail.
I would like plesk to introduce this so some kind of agent is running on the server so Plesk can communicate with IIS on the remote web server to copy SSLs and bindings.

Mail blacklist monitoring
Recently my Plesk server has been placed on one of the most used blacklists. This was because of one of my customer mail boxes was hacked. It would be great if I was notified soon once my IP was visible on the blacklists.
Maybe Plesk can create a extra module in the monitoring module where it will poll a list of DNS blacklists. A bit like www.dnsbl.info or blacklistalert.org or mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx. And then prererable with configurable with a custom list and interval so for example every hour the blacklists are being polled. And when it's a hit a mail will…

Implement support of SPF, DMARC and DKIM anti-spam methods for Plesk email notifications
Plesk email notifications to the administrator's email address get into Spam folder at public email providers because they are not protected by SPF, DMARC or DKIM anti-spam methods.
It is required to enhance the Plesk notification system so that Plesk email notifications are treated as legitimate email messages by the Internet email system.

Possibility to choose the SMTP port to use. Or both ports
Possibility to choose the SMTP port to use. Or both ports
I know we have this option: enable SMTP service on port 587 on all IP addresses
But if that option is enabled, all services continue to use port 465. And it also continues to use postfix, for example.
The ideal would be to have an option that allows us, in some way, to select which SMTP port to use and that when the desired port is selected, it will automatically reconfigure (or ask us) postfix and other related options.
Of course, later I will have to modify my mail…

Attaching the existing SmarterMail services to Plesk.
When there is a SmarterMail service running on the same server with Plesk, it would be great to have an option to create an account in Plesk with the same domain and attach the SmarterMail content.

Create filtering rules to improve the anti-SPAM mechanism
Allow the user to define expressions or words in the subject or body of the message that would classify the email as SPAM. For example: if a rule was created that classifies as SPAM every email that has the word 'OFFER' in the subject.
Just blacklisting by email / domain is not enough, because SPAMERS change domains very easily.4 votesThank you for your input. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it is popular. Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

Deliver the emails externally when the mail service is disabled in Plesk Obsidian with SmarterMail
Currently, when mail service is disabled in a domain hosted in Plesk Obsidian with SmarterMail, Plesk disables the mail service for the domain in SmarterMail.
This causes a problem when trying to send an email to this domain because SmarterMail considers the domain is disabled with the following error in the log files:
Delivery for jsmith@domain.tld to jdoe@example.com has bounced. Reason: The domain is disabled
Plesk should do the following when mail service is disabled:
- Keep the domain enabled in SmarterMail
- Configure the Inbound Message Delivey from Local to ExternalOr, provide an option in Plesk GUI to…

Inbox / Email storage encryption
Some customers and users find it difficult to trust a mail provider with unencrypted emails, while they are stored on the mail server, even the email account users domain administrator is sometimes not trusted like that.
Plesk should consider implementing a way for email account owners to option-in on inbox / email storage encryption.
Encryption per folder, inbox, domain or general over all, with their own key or with a key Plesk have generated.
Most of the self-build CP hosters and even cPanel hosters do not have this option, and I think this would be a great sales point, while…
