Hi all, Thanks for your input, really appreciate this! As you know, in Plesk Onyx 17.8 we made a significant improvement that allows you to use several cloud storages or even SFTP for remote backups. In Plesk Onyx 17.9 we will continue to improve Plesk Backup Manager in general and Flexible Backup Scheduler Manager in particular.
Based on the initial description and comments I can highlight 3 scenarios in the scope of this request:
#1. Keep Daily & Weekly & Monthly backups at the same time: (Example: 2 weeks of daily backups + weekly backups by each Monday)
#2. Backup to different storages (like daily to FTP and monthly to Google Drive)
#3. Multiple Storages of the same type (like 2 different FTP servers)
ID in our Issue Tracker: PPM-1701

Good news! Despite the low number of votes that this request got, from some additional reports Plesk understands that this is a critical function for some users. We do not have an ETA yet, but it will be worked on in the scope of upcoming feature enhancements.

I think you have a good idea, just goes a bit further than a "simple" import/export capability
However I also note that this request is now 6 years old :(
If we can't get an import/export feature added in 6 years then a geo filter probably has no realistic chance of being looked at. Which is a shame.

Ehudz, your comments for extended function are perfectly reasonable and valid. I would suggest you add them as a separate feature suggestion.
This topic is for a basic import/export capability
If the capability was available you could easily load such a list to your requirements

My hosting provider is migrating me to a new server. They told me they cannot transfer my existing Firewall list of denied IPs.
So instead of being able to export the list of IPs and import them on the newly provisioned server I have to re-enter each one by hand.
Another scenario. Amazon Cloud publish a list of the IPs they use. They are often abused by spammers and bots which can attack hosted forums and CMS. You can pick up the list here... https://forums.aws.amazon.com/ann.jspa?annID=1701 ... until Pinterest came along I used to block all of their EC2 IPs and trouble just faded away. However I still block aggressive bots and unwanted probing from cloud hosting providers from RedStation, ahrefsbot, panopta, etc.
So, assuming I want to drop an existing list of denied IPs and replace with a fresh list, it would be really nice if I didn't have to do so line by line, by line, by line, by line... if you get my point.

This is a valid request, so we’ll look into it. There is no ETA at the moment, but we would really appreciate you voting for this request so that we can accurately assess its popularity relative to other features. Thanks in advance!

I asked BackBlaze whether they are working on adding support for Plesk. They are not. They support developers but do not develop third-party solutions in-house. I am not a developer so I cannot do this myself but I also came across their documentation for transfer of large files which requires python and some additional libraries. With both Mono and Python to choose from I am sure someone is capable of putting this together. Maybe someone at Plesk?

BackBlaze B2 Cloud Storage offers the first 10GB of storage free of charge. It would make an excellent repository for Plesk Backups. There are open source FTP clients such as Duplicati, based on the open source Mono framework. Hopefully the hard lift has already been done and someone can make the Plesk extension open source too. Giving Plesk users 10GB of free server backup would be a significant perk.
