    I know about the feature of custom labels. (But to be honest, I had expected the implementation of this enhancement to be a bit different, see comments on https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/42474760-custom-labels-in-wp-toolkit).

    Anyway, for me labels differ from notes in the following aspects:
    – Visibility: A label should, like you said, clearly/always be visible, as prominent as the title. The notes field, on the other hand, is more of a detailed information that does not have to be visible immediately.
    – Length: For me, a label is as short as possible. The notes, on the other hand, can contain complete sentences.
    – Function: Labels fulfill the function of classifying/grouping entries. (To ensure that they can be consistently assigned multiple times, they should therefore be indexed globally. In addition, I would expect to be able to filter and sort by labels. Unfortunately, neither is currently the case, hence my parenthetical note at the beginning). Notes do not have this function. They are just additional and individual information about an entry. Ideally, they are part of the search index.

    Which brings us to your second question: Yes, that is exactly what I meant.

    I concur with this concern. It would be an advantage to be able to customize the default template to the same extent as the templates per instance. Otherwise, one is left with tedious copy-paste work to implement global changes to the template on all instances.
