  1. Preserve custom Fail2Ban badbot configuration

    At this point, /etc/fail2ban/filter.d/apache-badbots.conf is coming from the fail2ban package from OS repositories, which results in a loss of any customizations applied previously upon a Plesk update
    Include /etc/fail2ban/filter.d/apache-badbots.conf into Plesk in order to be able to preserve the custom badbot configuration upon a Plesk version update

  2. Apache MPM optimization is hard to set correctly, suggestions that help setting the values properly should exist within the Plesk GUI

    Since Apache MPM settings are hard to set correctly, there should be proposals and suggestions that help you set them properly within the Plesk GUI.

  3. Each subscriber restarts their IIS

    I am a subscriber, not a reseller. When IIS goes down, we subscribers don't have to raise the service again. Suggestion, if this pool is separated by subscriber, would it be possible to restart just my IIS?

  4. Custom buttons for the customer

    It would be great to be able to insert custom buttons into the client's Plesk panel without having to manipulate Plesk code.
    At the moment only in the Plesk ADMIN panel it is possible to add custom buttons, but the customer cannot see them from his panel.

    Thank you for your update. I understand now. You would like to add the custom button in the navigation menu for customers. You are right, at this point, it is possible to configure such an option only through classes inherited from pm_Hook_CustomButtons. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it becomes popular.

  5. Add the notifications if an Admin-User is logging in from an unknown/new device?

    If Plesk can send such notifications it will help detect access violations

  7. Add possibility in "Restrict Admin Access" feature to specify IP addresses configured with DynDNS

    it would be really nice to have a features, which restricts the administrative access for all IPS other than the IP which is configured using DynDNS

  8. Add an ability to apply changes from a service plan to existing subscriptions

    Some settings, such as Retain web and traffic statistics are not applied to existing subscriptions after changing those in the service plan. It would be useful to apply them in one place instead of making changes in every subscription.

  9. SSL settings per plan restriction

    Hi it would be nice to have in plan permission settings, to disable access to SSL (both those from extensions as well as LetsEncrypt) Settings for Hosting Plan, not user as it was sugested. Exactly the same way it has been done with SiteJet Builder.

    I have some customers who are non-technical, so less options in the Panel then better for them.

  10. OpenSSH server support in Plesk for Windows

    SFTP (FTP over SSH protocol) Support would come in handy for users who want a more secure way to transfer their files to and from their hosting account. We, as a hosting company, have received many requests for a more secure way to handle file transfers than the classic FTP(S) protocol on Windows Server.

    Newer versions of Windows have built-in OpenSSH server functionality, I think it would be nice to integrate this in the Plesk end-user Panel in a way that users can use SFTP with their account username and (maybe?) configure SSH keys for their accounts for a more…

  12. Disable Plesk toast notifications

    When backups are created manually a Toaster notification is shown. This also applies when creating backups via CLI or API. In case multiple backups are run via CLI or API (for example overnight) the next time an Admin logs into Plesk he gets flooded with Toaster notification.

    It would be nice to have an option to disable Toaster notifications for backups.

  13. Force certain group of users only (administrators or customers) to use 2FA, not all users.

    Currently, when setting up 2FA, it is possible to enforce all users on server (administrators and customers) to use 2FA. The idea is to enforce the administrators to use 2FA, not customers or enforce customers instead.

  14. Allow to preselect a different language for Awstats per domain

    Hi,

    It is difficult to select a language in awstats. Can we build a nice menu for in every domain that is hosted on the server to select a language that we all want to have for that particulair domain.

  16. Remove All Files / Packages From The Previous Plesk Obsidian Release(s) As Part Of Plesk's Upgrade Process

    As per the title. When any Plesk Obsidian release is upgraded to the next release, many files and/or packages are simply left in place and not removed as part of the Plesk installation process. Without patient and time-consuming manual "clean-up" exercises, all of these now unused and non-functional files and/or packages, simply accumulate and (just like garden weeds do in the real world) take up useful and valuable server real estate, but for no purpose. It's a little surprising that this is still happening, when nearly all software packages provide this as a default action.

  17. Customize Plesk notifications for each customer

    Currently, Plesk notifications (like "Subscription expiration", "Resource usage limits exceeded by subscription", etc.) are the same for all Plesk users.

    It would be great to have a possibility to customize notifications individually for each subscription or customer to personalize information about payments and offers.

  18. Add permissions for ModSecurity like WordPress

    WordPress has permissions at the subscription and service plan level that allow controlling customer's access to it individually.

    There should be similar options for ModSecurity without having to disable all the hosting settings with the Hosting Management Settings permission.

  20. Disable statistic files generation (.stat/.webstat) for domains where AWStats/Webalizer are disabled

    Please add the ability to disable generation of stat/webstat files for domains (named like accessssllog.stat and accessssllog.webstat). It would be nice to be able to disable statistics generation completely, as in some cases these files take a lot of disk space.
