  1. Enable black/whitelists for mailgroups

Mailgroups currently simply forward mail to all its members. When forwarding, spam rules do not apply. Hence the black/whitelist settings are also ignored.

At least we should be able to only allow mailgroups to be used from internal accounts, so that mailgroups are not an easy target for spammers.

  2. We would appreciate it if the setting of the time were included in addition to the days for the «automatic replies» by e-mail. For part-time

We would appreciate it if the setting of the time were included in addition to the days for the «automatic replies» by e-mail. For part-time employees, this attitude would be a real asset.

  3. Add an option to manage/remove bounced mails from Plesk UI

In Courier IMAP with qmail, when the mailbox exceeds usage limit, mails for this mailbox get bounced. Bounced mails are not displayed in Plesk panel and can be checked only on the server side. And in this case, mails queues from Plesk and server are different which can be confusing.
Therefore, it would be convenience to have a feature that can manage and remove the bounced mails from the Plesk UI.

  5. Retroactively scan mailboxes for existing/already received spam

It would be useful to scan mailboxes for spam retroactively. This would allow searching previous emails for spam after setting up spam protection. This could also help flag items that passed the filter before the sender got blacklisted.

    For instance:

  6. Enable using domain's IP to send email on Plesk for Windows

It would be nice to be able to set the IP address used to send mails as the domain's IP, the same way it happens on Plesk for Linux.

  7. Attaching the existing SmarterMail services to Plesk.

When there is a SmarterMail service running on the same server with Plesk, it would be great to have an option to create an account in Plesk with the same domain and attach the SmarterMail content.

  9. Delete mail after forwarding - windows

    Re: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/6338602-delete-mail-after-forwarding?tracking_code=d654a84a5625cb2a3cc547432c05b461

This idea is marked closed and done, but it seems it was only done in linux so I'm creating this new post to request the feature in windows.

    Thank you.

  10. Greylist control per user/subscription

Allow greylisting control individually per user, while maintaining the control on a subscription/level, not server-wide

  11. Remove digest-md5 from dovecot and postfix configs

Seeing as the current implementation does not work with Outlook (and a lot of people use Outlook), it would make sense to remove the digest-md5 option from dovecot and postfix configs. These options keep coming back on a Plesk update so it would better to just remove them completely.

  15. Support for MailEnable domains' postoffices folders as junctions

We use the following configuration on Plesk for Windows: in MailEnable postoffices folder, domains' folders are junctions to folders inside subscriptions' web folder (e.g. C:\inetpub\vhosts\example.com\email). In Plesk Onyx with such setup, statistics were calculated successfully but in Obsidian, it stopped counting the size of junctions, so the mail statistics is counted as 0.
This setup is important for us, so please return the support for domains' mail folders as junctions.

  16. Mail-Archiving for single mailboxes

In Germany we are faced with laws about mail archiving.

    Usually you could do this:

    a) create user@1domain.tld as mailbox
    b) forwardy any imcoming mail to user@2domain.tld

But this does not work fully.

We need to copy ANY mail sent or received by user@1domain.tld into a mail-archive which is NOT an eMail-adress like user@2domain.tld.

Instead we need to save the communication for up to ten years in a database or like to hand this out to law enforcement when it comes to compliance issues. Is there any package out there within Pleask who can be adopted?

    More info here:

  17. Add possibility to create forwarding addresses without specifying user and password

It is no longer possible to create mail accounts without a password in Plesk Obsidian. However it is required to create such mail addresses for Forwarding as example.

  19. Enable sending e-mails to same domain on external server even if Mail service is enabled for a domain

As more and more customers move to G Suite and Office 365, there is a need to send authenticated emails from local SMTP to external server that handles same domain.

Lets say example.com has a WordPress installation that sends notifications, order confirmations, form confirmations, ... to avoid spam and meet best practices, I will create local e-mail account mail@example.com.

If domain has G Suite hosting info@example.com, emails from mail@example.com will not be delivered, because of Plesk's setup.

As long as mail is enabled locally, one will get error: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table; even…

  20. Fully Customizable Autodiscover Settings

Could you please allow some (or all) of the new Obsidian Autodiscover settings to be customizable at a Subscription or Domain level? Here is a list of things we need:

    1) Specify POP or IMAP or BOTH incoming server types.
    2) Specify custom domain prefixes for incoming and outgoing servers. (ie: mail.domain.ext or smtp.domain.ext or etc, etc...)
    3) Specify custom port numbers for both incoming and outgoing servers. (so we may specify exactly what kind of security is enabled or not)
    4) Any other settings that can be customized but are of lesser importance.

Please, if you are concerned, allow…
