  2. An option to change 'from' field in Plesk email notifications when using MSMTP

Currently, it's possible to change the 'from' field in Plesk email notifications only when Postfix or Qmail is installed. The change cannot be applied when using MSMTP.

Please implement an option in Plesk to change the 'from' field in email notifications when using MSMTP.

  3. Allow modification of how long the mail password reset link will take to expire.

Currently the length of time to expire is 24hours. It would be desirable to be able to increase how long the link takes to expire.

  4. Force port 587 for submission

I would like to have the option to force users to use port 587 for submission, so they can't use port 25 to submit email, and this port 25 is only used for relay between smtp servers.

  5. panel.ini setting to select 127.0.0.1 or localhost for WPT WordPress installations

When using CloudLinux's alt-php versions and when using Plesk's php version management facility instead of CloudLinux PHP Selector, the default path to mysql.sock is not set, or in some cases incorrectly set to /tmp/mysql.sock.

Any php script, including WordPress, that is set to use "localhost" to connect to the database will then fail to connect. This can cause severe problems with the WordPress Toolkit.

If, instead of localhost, the host address is set to 127.0.0.1, php uses a network connection instead of trying to connect to mysql.sock, and all is well. Naturally this assumes that mysql/mariadb listens on 127.0.0.1 but…

  6. Increase mailbox size above the default size

Default Mailbox size is for example 5 GB per Mailbox. But on one Box, the client need more space. So it would be great, if all accounts stay on the standard Size. All mail addresses keep the default size, but one can increase the storage space. Currently, only the reverse is possible, but this makes little sense, as I don't want to adjust all the addresses individually, but only increase the one that has a compulsory requirement.

  8. "Search engine indexing" error report in WP ToolKit

Can you please add an option to turn off error reporting for sites which have "Search engine indexing" turned off?

I run many websites on subdomains with demo content that I don't want to index.

  9. Automatic/option for hiding of Plesk, PHP, Apache, Nginx, Wordpress, Drupal, etc. 'reveals'

It would be so useful to accommodate one hardening feature, and that would be to switch on/off the server reveal options for Nginx/Apache (Lightspeed, whatever), the expose_php attribute for the version number in PHP (and equivalent in Perl, etc.), the Wordpress/Drupal (and Joomla, etc.), reveal of their presence and version numbers. See this article for the cybersecurity relevance of that (there's a lot more on the 'securityheaders.com' website and free checkers for all of this there too), but I pick this as an illustration of what I'm referring to with php:

    https://serverhealers.com/blog/hide-php-version-x-powered

All of these things are simple, and just…

Thank you for your idea! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

Here I'd like to add, though, that in the real world attackers simply test a website against all known vulnerabilities, regardless what webserver, PHP or other software version they detect. Actually, such version information are of no interest, they simply drive tests against all known flaws. So adding the feature will probably not help against hacking attempts.

  10. Installation of TYPO3 and Toolkit similar to WP Toolkit

Our customers wish to install TYPO3 websites after buying an abonnement through WHMCS or the Plesk panel and have a toolkit where they can manage their TYPO3 installations from a panel like WP Toolkit. I searched through all feature suggestions but I didn't find a suggestion. You should be able:
    - to rollout TYPO3 installations
    - to manage all your TYPO3 installation
    - to update your TYPO3 installation
    - to stage/test their TYPO3 installation
    - to remove your TYPO3 installation
    - to reinstall your TYPO3 installation

This request initially asked to remove the ability of resetting the  password, but it turned out that what is meant is to remove the ability  to login for selected users. We have updated the title accordingly. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be  popular. Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

  13. WooCommerce Staging Process (cloning without overwriting Woocommerce content)

WooCommerce = at least 1/3 of ALL e-commerce websites use WooCommerce.

Can Plesk please make a process that works EASY for people to do the following on a WP and WooCommerce site:

Live site > Clone to Stage site > Copy to Live site

The issue is customers, orders, and products on the Live site can't be replaced/over-written, etc when you copy back to live site.

THIS PROCESS WOULD MAKE MONEY for Plesk, as for some reason, it doesn't exist anywhere, that I know of.

    Please implement it :)

Plesk already supports a wealth of backup options and disk space vendors with its "Backup to Cloud Pro" extension.

    https://www.plesk.com/extensions/offer-complete-backup-solution/

We will consider to add yet another one in upcoming releases - if it will be popular - but we also suggest to ask terabox whether they would like to develop their extension for Plesk using the free Plesk API.

Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

  15. Add a snapshot of the current processes list to existing CPU / memory usage exceeded emails

The Monitoring extension already triggers email notifications when resource usage exceeds the allocations, but if usage has already settled before you notice these emails and click through to the server, it's difficult to find which domain was the cause.

Adding a snapshot of the current processes list to these emails when it's the CPU or memory usage thresholds that have been exceeded would be very useful. Potentially just the "Domains only" filtered list would suffice. Maybe trimmed to the top 50 or so processes ordered by CPU or memory, whichever is appropriate at the time.

  16. Monitoring, uptime and white label customer reports

It would be nice to have:

    • Monitoring (alert if site offline or keyword does not exist)
    • Uptime (maintenance mode not included in downtime)
    • Reports (automatically generated WP-toolkit white label reports to send by email monthly to clients)

  19. Oversign Emails' DKIM From, To, and CC headers

    As in:
    https://proton.me/blog/dkim-replay-attack-breakdown

Oversign From, To, and CC headers – Most DKIM implementations always sign the From, To, and CC headers if they are present in an email, preventing them from being modified if the message is resent. However, if these headers are missing, they are often unsigned, opening the door to replay attacks with forged headers that make the fraudulent emails seem legitimate. Oversigning mitigates these attacks by signing these sensitive headers in all cases, even if they are blank. If you use Proton to send your email, this oversigning is done for you automatically by our mail servers.

  20. make plugin pack installation able to handle dependent plugins

This feature request originated here: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plugin-package-cannot-be-installed-premium-plugin-requires-base-plugin.371482/

The problem is that plugin X needs to be active so plugin Y can be activated. (In my case, it was the AIOS plugin with its premium version, which WP toolkit wasn't able to activate)

It seems that WP Toolkit tries to activate all plugins at once when installing a plugin pack. An option to tell WP Toolkit to enable each plugin alone in the order they were added to the plugin pack instead of all together would be useful in this case. But there are probably more ways to optimize WP toolkit for…
