  1. Retroactively scan mailboxes for existing/already received spam

It would be useful to scan mailboxes for spam retroactively. This would allow searching previous emails for spam after setting up spam protection. This could also help flag items that passed the filter before the sender got blacklisted.

    For instance:

  2. Ability to merge plesk notifications

It would be nice to be able to merge the notifications Client created and Domain Created into one, to avoid spamming the customers.
So that the {{ domain }} can be used also on the Client Created template.

  3. Lock system package updates via CLI

It would be great to be able to lock package updates through the CLI the same way it is done through the Tools and Settings > System Updates > All Packages in Plesk, and as it is explained here: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402087874322

Currently there is no Plesk utility command covering this, and it is only possible to achieve that through package manager on the operating system, for example.

  4. Add a service plan line where not only the number of mailboxes, but also the number of mail addresses can be limited

Currently, it is only possible to limit mailbox creation for a subscription, but mail accounts could be further created, exceeding this limit, which could confuse end users.
Please add ability to limit the creation of mail accounts for subscription.

  6. Anonaddy as Mail-Service

    Hello,
I have noticed that I use and also need more and more eMail addresses for different websites.
If only to see which website may have been hacked and turn off the SPAM on it. Currently it is possible to create aliases.

However, the list becomes very confusing, as soon as some addresses were deposited.

There is open source code from Anonaddy on Github.
It would be great if this would be integrated and also the addon for Chrome/Firefox is adapted so that this works together with the anonaddy in Plesk.

  8. Enable black/whitelists for mailgroups

Mailgroups currently simply forward mail to all its members. When forwarding, spam rules do not apply. Hence the black/whitelist settings are also ignored.

At least we should be able to only allow mailgroups to be used from internal accounts, so that mailgroups are not an easy target for spammers.

  10. Plesk API: Expiration Date

    Hello,

There should be an option to read and modify the value of the "Expiration Date" variable on the Plesk subscriptions in the API. That would help a lot.

  13. Chose the database server when installing an application from the Aps Catalog

Option to select any of the database servers setup in Plesk when installing an application from the Aps Catalog,

Currently, the database server chosen by the aps catalog is the default one on the subscription set in the service plan.

  14. Webhooks

I imagine most sysadmins would like the idea of being able to set up webhooks for many of the notifications sent out via Plesk so that we can log this info and/or act on it.

Some notifications that would be great to be able to add webhooks for:
    1. A user/attacker gets blocked for using the wrong password too many times on an email or ftp account
    2. Email account/hard drive reaches specified capacity
    3. Apache is down!
    4. Server is down
    5. DNS issues
    6. Let's encrypt issues

I'm sure there are plenty more situations where webhooks would be…

  15. Bot protection in Wordpress Toolkit should include the option to exclude some bots

It should be possible to exclude some bots from "bot protection" option in Wordpress Toolkit, for example, Semrushbot is used for seo in sites, and it should remain active, or acunetix is a security scanner and users may want to use it, whlie blocking other unwanted bots.

  16. Import Plesk settings to others Plesk instances

Feature/extension to import Plesk settings to different Plesk instances automatically:

    • Firewall settings
    • Global Plesk settings
    • IP Access restriction settings
    • Security settings

  17. Let's Encrypt Notifications management on per Domain basis

It would be nice to be able to manage Let's Encrypt Notifications on per domain basis.

Right now, the notifications can be managed sort of by role. Administrator, Reseller or Customer thus the notifications are enabled for everyone or disabled for everyone as well. More information here: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001371114

Such scenario is not suitable when the notifications are to be received globally but some customers just don't want to receive them.

    Thanks in advance.

  18. Provide more details and information in FTP logs

Provide more details and information/verbosity in FTP logs such as /var/log/plesk/xferlog as the information as it is now is meaningless and useless.

It is now possible to modify and raise the debug level on logs through ProFTPD configuration however, it would be great to be able to fine-tune it from within Plesk.

  20. Be able to Whitelist IP Addresses for WordPress Toolkit Security Measures

When enabling all the WordPress Toolkit Security Measures, we should be able to specify and whitelist IP addresses in order to NOT apply the rules, this way the owner of website can access potentially sensitive files via URL without being blocked
