  1. Hidden Primary DNS without NS RR

    in Plesk it is impossible to configure the SOA Primary Nameserver without a NS RR.

    The SOA template should support Hidden Primary NameServer and the Zone file generation should always use the Hidden Primary NameServer in the Domain SOA entry.

    Example:
    @ IN SOA ns1.hidden-primary.tld ...
    ...
    domain.tld. IN NS ns1.secondary.tld.
    domain.tld. IN NS ns2.secondary.tld.

  3. Add a way to automatically restart scheduled backups in case they fail

    In case a scheduled backup fails, users have to wait until the next execution date. Please add a customizable timeframe for restarting a scheduled backup ahead of time in case the current execution has failed

  4. Hide Caching (nginx) option in WP-Toolkit

    The controls in the Tools section of WP-Toolkit should be customizable to allow hiding Caching (nginx) so that customers do not enable it randomly. The ability to enable nginx caching should still be available from Apache & nginx settings.

    Thank you for your idea! We understand that this idea originates from the fact that customers sometimes enable nginx-caching without realizing what this option does to their website. Potentially creating issues with their own website. 


    We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it becomes popular.

  5. Feature request to implement custom file mounting/mapping into Docker instance

    Add the possibility to mount/map custom files into the docker image, which doesn't have them set.

  6. Add support for OpenID/SAML SSO platforms

    Please provide a way to integrate custom SSO platforms with Plesk via OpenID/SAML protocols - the OneAll Social Login extension used to have this functionality, but it's currently deprecated and its replacement (Social Login extension) does not provide these options.

  7. Enable User Selection of MS SQL Recovery Model: Full or Simple

    To prevent the transaction log from continuously expanding with no clear method of truncation even after a full backup, it's a good idea to allow the user to select the recovery model (either Full or Simple) when creating the MS SQL database.

    By enabling users to select the appropriate recovery model based on their recovery needs, those who do not require complete transaction log restoration can benefit from the simplicity and efficiency of the Simple recovery model, and keep transactions log to it's minimum size.

  8. Add possibility to configure Plesk to relay all Plesk notification emails to another SMTP server that requires authentication

    Currently, Plesk notification emails relayed to another mail server return "said: 550 Authentication is required for relay (in reply to MAIL FROM command)" errors.

    A set of separate settings that allow you to configure Plesk to relay all Plesk notification emails to another SMTP server while using authentication would be very helpful for such setups.

  11. Add permissions for ModSecurity like WordPress

    WordPress has permissions at the subscription and service plan level that allow controlling customer's access to it individually.

    There should be similar options for ModSecurity without having to disable all the hosting settings with the Hosting Management Settings permission.

  14. PHP extensions installing outside PECL manager.

    PECL fails to install rar extension for PHP >= 8.1

    Customer wants to Plesk can handler this in another way for such cases.

  15. Add Storage Location to DB Copy Functionality

    Currently the db copy functionality only allows for a default location that is where the db server is located. I would ask that you provide the ability to add a second predetermined location that is just a storage location and not associated with the db server. This allows us to keep the db server storage clean.

  16. Disable statistic files generation (.stat/.webstat) for domains where AWStats/Webalizer are disabled

    Please add the ability to disable generation of stat/webstat files for domains (named like accessssllog.stat and accessssllog.webstat). It would be nice to be able to disable statistics generation completely, as in some cases these files take a lot of disk space.

  18. Automatic SmartUpdates in WP Toolkit should ignore failed plugins and themes

    Automatic SmartUpdates in WP Toolkit are rolled back if just one plugin or theme fails to update, leaving every other plugin or theme outdated. Please make it possible to ignore the failed updates and go ahead with automatically updating other plugins and themes.

  19. Use FSRM to block the execution of binaries and scripts in vhosts folder in Plesk Windows

    Provide the ability to use File Server Resource Monitor to block the execution of *.bat, *.exe and *.cmd that are executables which can contain malicious code or malware and thus we don't allow them to be executed by customer by any means. The use of FSRM blocks the installation of WordPress, Joomla and woocommerce because it needs permission to run scripts in vhosts folders.

  20. .Net Toolkit: Automatically Restart Application after having published new Version

    .Net Toolkit: Automatically Restart Application after having published new app version.

    When setting up a .Net App using your .Net Toolkit (which works great), it would be amazing if the app could be restarted automatically after having pushed a new version to the git publish repository.

    Currently, one has to disable and then enable the application manually. Restart by the way has no effect - at least not what I have seen so far.

    This change would be amazing. Thank you!
