  1. Add ability to remove last IP address on the network interface via Plesk

For example, the customer has 2 network interfaces: Ethernet1 and Ethernet2. On the Ethernet 2 network interface only one (203.0.113.3 ) IP address can be found.

In an attempt to remove 203.0.113.3 IP address via Plesk > Tools & Settings > IP Addresses the following error is shown:
Error: Cannot remove the IP address 203.0.113.3 because it is the last IP address present on a network interface.

Please add the possibility in Plesk to remove the IP address via a Plesk > Tools & Settings > IP Addresses, even if it is the latest IP address on the network interface.

  3. Make SSH Keys Manager NOT an Extension

I looked everywhere for it - even search extensions (but it did not get found with a simple "SSH" search) - why in the world would this be considered optional?

  4. Center align custom logo on login page

The custom logo aligns to the right of the login content. A more professional look is to center align the image.

When creating the backup, instead of backing up the entire database, it will be better to compress the tables in the database separately.

  9. Add the ability to log/monitor incoming traffic for a certain application/port

Currently I have a Node JS Application built for a website example.com responding to CoAP Requests on a customer port, e.g. 5678.
It would be great if I could log or monitor incoming UDP requests for this port similar to how the 'Apache SSL/TLS access' show.

  10. Mail-Archiving for single mailboxes

In Germany we are faced with laws about mail archiving.

    Usually you could do this:

    a) create user@1domain.tld as mailbox
    b) forwardy any imcoming mail to user@2domain.tld

But this does not work fully.

We need to copy ANY mail sent or received by user@1domain.tld into a mail-archive which is NOT an eMail-adress like user@2domain.tld.

Instead we need to save the communication for up to ten years in a database or like to hand this out to law enforcement when it comes to compliance issues. Is there any package out there within Pleask who can be adopted?

    More info here:

We see the need that in some markets mail archiving could be important. However, the large number of different laws, regulations not only by country, but also by business types make it almost impossible to provide a "one size fits all" mail archiving solution. Even for the German GoBD, special interest software exists, while their requirements are quite ordinary compared to some U.S. regulations or specific regulations such as for the health and pharmaceutical sector. In some countries it is required to remove outdated personal mails for privacy reasons, in some others it is required to keep such mails, etc.

As all these need special configurations and this request did not become popular, at this time we are not planning to implement an audit-proof mail archiving solution, it would just be an unreasonable investment considering the low popularity of this request.

Instead, if you are looking for mail archiving in…

  11. Disaster Recovery Plesk _ Speed Up Backup Restoration procedure with possibility to open multiple process pleskrestore running

Allow the pleskrestore command to be run under different example accounts

    pleskrestore --restore domains1.tar -level clients [<option_N> [<param>]]
    pleskrestore --restore domains2.tar -level clients [<option_N> [<param>]]
    pleskrestore --restore domains3.tar -level clients [<option_N> [<param>]]

in order to obtain more simultaneous processes for the restore and therefore speeding up the recovery procedure of an entire server through plesk backups, in case of emergency.

It is very important to allow you to run multiple simultaneous processes, also because today's CPUs and disks are very powerful and performing, if in case of emergency recovery, 8 restore commands are launched, the recovery process is speeded up…

There are two major bottlenecks for restores: Network bandwidth for downloading the archive from an external FTP server (either on the FTP server or on the local host) and cpu power on unpacking the compressed archives. Both are already maxed in the current restore algorithms. In addition, disk I/O capabilities can limit the restore speed. Specificially uncompressing creates a high cpu load and lots of disk I/O transactions. Running several such processes concurrently could stall the server and will not necessarily increase the restoration speed. Dozens of test restores on real production machines with 12-core CPUs and backup large archives (e.g. 500 - 800 GB) have shown that it is a much better and safer approach to do one such restore at a time as two of them will already overload a machine.

For these reasons we decline this request. However, rest assured that speed is always on the agenda.…

  12. Add the ability to make a redirect from a website secured by Let's Encrypt to the same website but with another language

The use case is the following:
    1. There is a example.com which uses load balancer
    2. There are serveral versions of the same website with different localization. example.fi, example.ru e.t.c.
    3. example.com is secured with Let's encrypt.
    4. Creating redirect using .htaccess
as a summary: to have this feature in one click, for example as onother hosting type.

This request has nothing to do with SSL. It is about localization websites and redirecting from one website to another in dependence of a language information, e.g. the user's preferred browser language, or geolocation. Such redirects are not the task of a web server control panel, but typical website script tasks, e.g. when a shop website identifies the country a user is from and forwards him to the correct websites servicing that country.

  13. Minecraft IP

How about if you could select 'Minecraft' in DNS and then enter the server IP + port and the other important things and the rest is then taken over by Plesk and you can then simply connect to the server with the domain / subdomain.

  19. Avoidance of special characters in database names when database is created

Disallowing using special characters (period, minus, backtick) in database names when database is created. This would reduce database errors caused by database names in wrong format.

The database server defines, what a wrong identifier format is, and for MariaDB for example, dashes and periods are allowed https://mariadb.com/kb/en/identifier-names/ . Backticks are already exluded in the Plesk GUI from database names, but at the moment there is no reason to limit the name more than what the database server allows. An artificially imposed limit will for sure trigger requests by other users to allow at least all the characters that the database server allows. For that reason, this feature request must be declined.
