Thank you for your suggestion. Plesk already contains an option to manage the "Enable 32-Bit Applications" flag on Application Pools. More information about the feature can be found in the documentation:

    https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/website-management/websites-and-domains/extended-website-management/plesk-for-windows-setting-up-iis-application-pool.65282/

  2. suspended subscriptions too stupid

We use Plesk hosting with 3GB of storage, but our website only uses 45% of it. I created a backup, which stored in our capacity, and the backup fills the disk full capacity, causing our subscription to be suspended.

I can't do anything in this situation, which leads to losing customers and harming our reputation.

Why does the backup consume hosting storage? Why do you suspend immediately instead of giving a warning and allowing three days to address the issue before suspending?

Thank you for you suggestion. Plesk already has an option to exclude backups (made via the Backup Manager) from diskspace calculation. This can be configured via Tools & Settings > Server Settings by unchecking "domain backup files" and "backup files created by the administrator".

Feel free to comment if I misunderstood your issue and your feature suggestion was meant differently.

  4. Direct Purcahse from Plesk

Please allow direct purchase from Plesk instead of from Resellers. Resellers are interested in making profit than giving class support.
Tech support from Plesk is wonderful as compare to Resellers Support.
We believe company who has developed product is more concern with reputation of the product & service. Person who just act as a middle man (Reseller) are not connected with reputation and goodwill of the services/product.

  5. Setup your own Plesk fav-icon

I would like to have FAV ICONS so that I can better distinguish between the tabs in my browser of choice while working on multiple browsers.

    Look at this documentation:

  6. Bind Plesk to port 8443 to all existing domains

Please add the ability to bind Plesk on port 8443 on all existing domains, so the customers would be able to login via their own domains, instead of using a specific domain/IP.

  8. RHEL 7 to RHEL 8 and above in-place upgrade support

With many Plesk servers running on RHEL 7 and it reaching its end of life very soon, an in-place upgrade to RHEL 8 or higher that is tested and supported by Plesk support would be very helpful.

  9. Make the migration status clearer

Make the migration status clearer, If there is a "[Details]" link beside the domain or overview of the process -- it should include EVERYTHING and not just errors. That is pathetic design and any user if going to expect ALL log data and not just errors.

The migration log is already extremely detailed and adjustable in level of detail, but you may not have seen the option to view it. Please click on the "Log" tab. You can either let the tree expand automatically or you can click on the "+" or "-" icons to expand specific branches of the tree. You can also download the full log from that page. For all transactions including separate domain migrations you can see detailed steps what is happening.

  10. Mark Suggestions that have been implemented - as such and close thread.

This suggestion is for THIS feature suggestions area. As a feature is implemented into PLESK, then mark the feature request as "COMPLETED - DATE - VERSION " and then close the thread.

I just went looking for a few things and found suggestions (years old) that are current in plesk and it can do. But the thread is still open and listed as a suggestion.

  11. you should add a shell or a terminal directly linked to the web hosting server

Adding a shell or terminal directly linked to the web hosting server can provide users with direct access to server commands and functionalities. Here are some considerations and points to keep in mind when implementing such a feature:

    Security Measures:

Security should be a top priority. Ensure that the shell or terminal is properly secured to prevent unauthorized access.
Implement authentication mechanisms to verify the identity of users before granting access to the shell.
Use encryption (e.g., HTTPS) to secure communication between the client and the server.
    Access Control:

Implement access controls to restrict certain commands or functionalities based on…

  12. do not use the external email address of the user as the sender of Let`s Encrypt renewal notifications.

Appearantly Plesk is using the Administrators EXTERNAL email address whenever sending Let's Encrypt renewal notifications to the certificate "owners".

Since its not uncommon that a Plesk server is NOT an authenticated sender for an EXTERNAL email domain these messages tend to end up in the spam folder of the receipient if accepted by their email server (which might be external too) at all.

I'd like my Plesk Installtion to use the admins/users standard email address as the sender address instead, chances are that the server is indeed an authenticated sender for those email adresses.

  13. Switch the domain while on the Create Email Address page

It would be nice to have a dropdown on the Create Email Address page, so that I may create mailboxes for other domains via that page instead of having to switch to the domains before doing so.

This feature is already available. Instead of starting mailbox creation from within a domain, simply start it from the subscription level. For example: Login to your subscription, then click on the "Mail" menu. When you click "Create EMail Address" from there, you are taken to a mailbox creation page where you can select the domain for which you create the mail address right next to the mail address input box. After you created a mailbox you are taken to the same mailbox overview page again an can create another mailbox for the same or another domain using the drop down.

  15. Webserver default site: Option for "none, without Plesk default page"

I don't want to assign a specific web site for the server's IP address, but I also don't want to show visitors the Plesk default page. Current workaround is to create a domain "defaultpage.tld" that delivers an empty page to make the monitoring happy.

Downside of this is that it wastes a domain license.

Would be nice, in "Tools & Settings > IP Addresses" to have another option "none, empty page".

For technical reasons of how Apache works, it is not possible to create an empty page site without defining any ip address. A web server must listen to an ip address to being able to respond, even if it responds with an empty page. Apache sieves traffic through all known domain names that are configured on the server until it finds no more virtual host entries. Then it defaults to the standard page.

This standard page is the Plesk page that you see. But there is an easy solution to achieve exactly what you want: You can simply replace the content of that standard page with anything you like. You can put a website into it or you can remove the existing file content so that the web server delivers the empty, white page you desire. Have a look at the content of /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs. This is your document root for…

As of October 9th, 2023, Plesk supports PHP versions up to 8.2. We will also support newer versions very shortly after they become available. You can select a newer PHP version from the PHP link in "Websites & Domains". If your server does not yet offer that version, please use the "Updates & Upgrades" function to install the latest PHP versions from Plesk updates on the server. If you are not the "admin" user of the server, please ask the "admin" user to do it for you.
