4. Display MySQL/MariaDB versions with warnings for unsupported versions in the Dashboard

   Many users run unsupported versions of MySQL or MariaDB, leading to issues such as failed updates or database errors. Since Plesk only supports LTS versions of MySQL/MariaDB, it's important to make this clear to administrators.

   I propose adding the following improvements to the Dashboard:

   • Display the installed MySQL/MariaDB version directly on the Dashboard.
   • Include warnings for unsupported MySQL/MariaDB versions, with a color-coded alert system similar to the OS warnings.

   These warnings should also link to support articles that explain the importance of running supported database versions and provide instructions for updating to a supported version.

5. Feature Suggestion for Plesk WordPress Toolkit: Notification Control per Subscription

   I would like to propose an enhancement to the Plesk WordPress Toolkit to address an issue with email notifications sent to end users. Currently, the toolkit sends nightly email alerts regarding available updates for WordPress plugins, themes, and the WordPress version. However, there is no option for server administrators to disable these notifications on a per-subscription basis.

   This lack of granularity means that administrators cannot tailor the notification settings according to individual user preferences, which may lead to annoyance for end users receiving notifications they do not wish to see.

   I propose extending the WordPress Toolkit to allow end users (the subscription holders) to control whether they want to receive these notifications. This feature would enhance user experience and give server administrators greater flexibility in managing subscriptions.

6. Permission to manage hosting type

   Add an additional permission that manages the ability to manage vhost type only (website, forwarding, no hosting). Currently this is bundled with "Domains management" permission, which if unchecked, will also not allow the creation of new domains.

8. Add option to pass OCSP "must staple" to Let's Encrypt

   It is possible to enable OCSP stapling, but not to pass the "must staple" option to Let's Encrypt, even though they support it, and it should be available in Plesk.

10. Provide migration licenses 24/7, not only on workdays

    Often times migrations are done on weekends. I'd like to be able to get a migration license as described in https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12388069544215-How-to-get-Plesk-Web-Host-edition-trial-license-for-migration at any time. The current workflow where this can only be requested and handled on weekdays during business hours can block my own workflow, e.g. when I have and emergency and absolutely must migrate.

11. Migrate SpamAssassin training database to a new server when using Plesk Migrator

    When migrating data to a new server using Plesk Migrator, all SpamAssassin trainings are lost, hence users receive more spam on the new server than they did before. It would be good to migrate SpamAssassin training content to the new server.

12. Add PHP shmop extension support useful for Wordpress performance and site health

    When you run the Wordpress Helath Check under Wordpress Tools menù and you run a Plesk server you will get the following alert:

    You should allow inter-process communication Performance
    You should consider using shared memory (PHP shmop) to allow inter-process communication.

    Could I suggest to add the PHP shmop support?
    I'm running PHP 8.3 and I'm not sure to use SSH command to try to get this extension working, will be nice if in the future this can be integrated in Plesk as ... today Wordpress is a very used CMS and we want always to have good performance.

    3) Download PHP source based on the version of the step 2

    Please pay special attention that the version matches the one determined in step 2!

    
    

    4) Extract the .tar file of the PHP downloaded

    # tar -xvjf /root/php-8.3.0.tar.bz2

    5) Go to shmop extension location:

14. Enable/disable TLS protocol versions through Plesk GUI

    I should not have to use the CLI to enable/disable TLS. This should be a GUI change, just like it is within most browsers. It should also be granular enough to enable/disable one at a time. You provide a great GUI interface...stop making us use the CLI in many cases. Create an advanced section within your settings section for items like this. Force the admin to login when going into this advanced section and have this login logged, so it can be seen later on down the road.

15. Provide option to include the warnings on a backup task, alongside errors

    there is the option "If errors occur during the execution of this backup task, send a notification email to..." but the notification is sent only when the backup is not successful at all. It does not include warnings.

16. Editable Admin interface colours

    Add the simple ability to change the colour of the background of the left column in the Plesk admin interface. I have two identical plesk accounts. One for testing, one for live. If the admin nav columns were two distinctly different colours, I wouldn't need to keep looking at the URL.

18. DNS record editor for all domains (bulk editing, selective editing)

    Editor for all DNS records in the Plesk system, it is very time consuming to mass check records and alter them eg. SPF, DMARC, autodiscover records.

    Maybe the editor could also have an option to reset records to DNS template.

    There are cases when the account information has been leaked, so password reminders and login functions can cause security breaches.
    Therefore, it would be good to have the possibility to manage log-in screen functionality in Plesk. For example, hide "Forgot your password" (and show it when it is required).

20. Installation of TYPO3 and Toolkit similar to WP Toolkit

    Our customers wish to install TYPO3 websites after buying an abonnement through WHMCS or the Plesk panel and have a toolkit where they can manage their TYPO3 installations from a panel like WP Toolkit. I searched through all feature suggestions but I didn't find a suggestion. You should be able:
    - to rollout TYPO3 installations
    - to manage all your TYPO3 installation
    - to update your TYPO3 installation
    - to stage/test their TYPO3 installation
    - to remove your TYPO3 installation
    - to reinstall your TYPO3 installation
