SFTP (SCP, SSH, Rsync) Backup
My biggest dislike ist only FTP_SSL ist supported
You can use “SFTP Backup” Plesk extension now – https://ext.plesk.com/packages/50e0dbd3-0fa3-45e8-ac4c-9333ade4de96-sftp-backup
With this extension, you can easily turn your Linux server into remote storage and use it to store backups via SFTP protocol. The extension is fully integrated with the Plesk backup interface and supports all operations available in Plesk backups.

Hello, Does this extension take up space on the local disk while creating the backup?

$4 per month! for such a basic functionality that should be included anyway. Plesk is getting expensive. I am on Plesk since 2014 but really starting to think I should Migrate. I am paying almost $70 a month now

I think it would be useful to include the SFTP backup system, did a google search and many customers need to do SFTP backups

This! SSH should be supported, so we can back-up to Amazon S3 / Glacier and Google Cloud Storage. They do not support FTP / FTPS.
