Rename special folders for IMAP or active Dovecot Plugin fix Android issue
Mailbox alias plugin
Requires Dovecot v2.1.10+ (and currently mailboxlistindex=no). This plugin can be used to configure mailbox aliases, which on the filesystem level are symlinks to other mailboxes. This doesn't magically solve the problem of showing clients e.g. multiple Sent mailboxes, but it can be used to make sure that all of the different variants will have the same mails in them. Unfortunately it also means that some clients will download the same mails to local cache multiple times.
The way it works is that:
The aliases won't be visible until the mailbox is CREATEd
When alias is CREATEd, a symlink is created to the original mailbox. If the original mailbox didn't exist yet, it's also created.
If a mailbox with the same name as alias was already created before this plugin was enabled, its behavior won't change unless it's deleted.
When alias is DELETEd, the symlink is removed without deleting any of the mails.
The original mailbox can't be DELETEd while it still has aliases.
Mailbox can't be RENAMEd if it's an alias or if it has aliases.
Example configuration where "Sent" is the real mailbox and it has aliases "Sent Messages" and "Sent Items":
On Plesk Onyx we have Dovecot 2.2.26.0 version.
Issue, described by you, looks like bugreport for Android case, but not like feature request. Note: only feature requests are allowed here, so we would appreciate if you post bugs and issues on our forum at https://talk.plesk.com according to special bugreport template there. We are closing this request, since it does not contain any feature suggestions.

Hi. Maybe I did not know how to explain myself correctly. It is precisely your senior support colleagues who have recommended that I write that suggestion here because they understand that it is not an incident of Plesk. Anyway the problem is with the default configuration that has Dovecot that does not cover all the devices that currently exist. Setting aside Android users is a mistake. As I say is a way that the Dovecot system, that Plesk onyx installs by default, covers the largest number of users. This problem does not occur if you use Courier in Plesk. I hope I made myself clear. Just this functionality to cover all the devices would solve the headache that currently have all the customers with Android that we have recommended Dovecot with Plesk. Maybe and advice about it in help manual on Plesk it would be necessary.
