Hi.
The first version of SNI support for Mail is available in Plesk Obsidian: https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/obsidian/change-log/#18-rc10
You need MailEnable 10.20+ (for Windows) or Postfix 3.4+ and Dovecot (for Linux) to test it.
There are cases when it doesn’t work (e.g., if you connect to mail.domain.com it will not work, please use domain.com in connection settings of your mail client) that’s why we don’t mark it as “available”. We plan to fix these issues soon.

Hi, good news but does it give us some timeline ?

I was able to solve this problem by using a multidomain wildcard cert. But native SNI would be cooler than that

This functionality is absolutely important and higly needed.
Many customers are complaining regarding issues with mail ssl certificates problems.
This issue requires an urgent fix.
It's obvsiously good news that the team working on linux postfix is taking care of the problem - only hope is that this will be addressed very fast also by Plesk... Kind regards -

This has played too long. Last staff response was 12 months ago. Can we have some indication of when/if this will happen. It is not a minor problem, it is a big big headache. Please provide some update as to progress and if its not going to happen, or not going to happen soon enough, then at least we know and can start transferring to cpanel :(

"Thank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular."
I think this answer is unbelievable! I run several vps 's with plesk, I will switch to Cpanel if there is no solution within a few months. this already plays too long and is a basic need for servers!
It already costs me customers: come on plesk team, take your customers seriously! -

This functionality is what makes the big difference from Cpanel, and is a game changer in domain management regarding mail certificate issues. Please consider to make it available soon!. Thanks.

Is there a reason why Plesk has not implemented this yet? Or have a solution for this yet?
Almost a year later? Surely this functionality is MORE important than others that have been done? -

This is a clear request that my users have. They are wondering why I can't offer the industry standard...

I think plesk only need to store all IP addresses together with the domain for any access to a certificate for a minute and if in this minute the same IP requests the certificate for the IP, then deliver the same. Can't be such hard ....

This feature is not deferrable anymore.
We absolutely need the capacity to secure with ssl multiple domain's mail on a single IP like C-Panel does. -

I vote that plesk considers adding SNI in the next available plesk update. It is becoming a necessity.
