Where is the implementation problem? It's the second most wanted thing.

As .NET 5 is soon to be released, and everything has been stable for a long time now its troubling to see that no support has been added yet, as others have said even for basic config options to setup a proxy with nginx. I don't know PHP or anything about the Plesk plugin tech, but couldn't the community make its own extension for this instead of watching Plesk drag their heels?

This is very important for us, and it will give plesk panel a good push in the market, specially with

Hi
Please upport Asp.net Core in Linux in Plesk

What I'd like to see is at least the ability to easily set up nginx as a reverse proxy for asp.net core server (as its supposed to be), for a domain. Microsoft suggest this as the preferred way to run asp.net core apps and it should work OK, except that I find it truly confusing to know where and how to configure nginx given plesk has already decided hwo to configure it, its way.
This is Microsoft's documentation for setting it up
uploading a asp.net core app should be the responsibility of the admin, though as its really a copy of a directory, plesk could make this easy to deploy as well.

Why are we even voting? No ETA on the second most voted suggestion and not even a response to the most voted suggestion!

@Breno, yeah, but not enough for them apparently...

Pretty sure it's not going to come. The demand seems to be simply not enough for them to bother.

And .net core is already on version 3.1 LTS...

I don't think that multiple versions of .NET Core is a valid argument. There are multiple versions of PHP, too.
Last time I looked at the docker feature it wasn't viable for a multi customer environment, I'll have to check that out again.

my vps host does not support docker on al their OS so docker is not an option. Think the moest ppl who could already did that

Just create a docker container for your ASP.NET Core App and use it in Plesk. Nothing to special and less problems.

@vaclav
Yes they are not, they were busy implementing API with 15 votes :) So yeah 402 votes is not enough. -

It is a bit complex to bring such a feature to Plesk. There are certain versions of .Net Core released which you would need to manually decide which of them you want to have in Plesk, and so on....So UI needs to be built for this and so on and tons of things I am not aware of. Still doable of course :)
I guess, these guys have got other things on their plates and schedule. They are not sitting on their asses by the beach and laughing at your comments.
With 402 votes, we could all chip $10 and ask somebody to make an Open Source plugin for Plesk :)
I wouldn't mind even if these features request payments would be paid directly to Plesk to accelerate development on these features, including fail over feature.
