Have multiple IPs in one subscription
Make each site able to run on its own IP.
If you would support this feature, please please tell us in the comments how you would use it - i.e. for SSL

Hello!
Forgive my English, I use google translator since I am Spanish.
I encounter a problem, I need a domain alias to have a dedicated IP, I need it for the prestashop multi-store.
In plesk I get the following:
The web hosting for this domain has been configured in IP address ****
We need to be able to choose the IP of the domain alias among those available on the server.
Thank you very much!

We definitely need this feature for TYPO3-systems where one customer runs many domains within one instance of the cms. UCCs are not usable because the customer launches a new site (domain) every 2 or 3 months.
Is this feature on the roadmap and if, for when is it planned?
Kind regards

@Sergey, SNI is not available for Let's Encrypt certificates, especially we are stuck with current LE implementation in the plesk addon that does not allows for subdomains certificates creation....
We would love to use a different IP for subdomains like when you have a brand site and a shop for the brand, it would help a lot....

Example 1:
For example, a customer orders an own IP. For the move would have the old and the new IP deposit if the customer remains on the same server. Thus, the customer would be temporarily available on both addresses.
If the DNS entries have been changed globally, the old IP can be removed again. Similar to SEO URLs. In the database, the mapping to the old domain will also be saved at the same time always.
Example 2:
Here it is not just about aliases. The IP is to assign only one subscription. A subscription may also have multiple domains. Currently, a new domain is treated the same as an alias, if this domain is the same subscription. -

The main reason i need this, is gmail, we need proper ipv6 reverse to avoid being classified as spam.
I have three distinct magento shop on the smae webspace, only one at a time can be set properly......or am i missing something, cause i'm suprised no one else talked about this ?

Having multiple shared IPs would allow to mitigate DDoS attacks when server room is using blackholing. Having multiple shared IPs per website would allow to use DNS based round robin and allow website to be available even during blackholing running on one of this IP addresses.
Even having possibility to bing all websites to *:80 would be usefull because DNS templates can be altered to allow creation of multiple A records with various IP addresses.

In my opinion multiple IPs per domaon would be useful for segmenting web traffic and outgoing mails (automated emails and regular user emails) helping too to track down sources of spam or root cause of MTA's poor reputation outside

Hello,
I wish this feature will be implemanted quickly.
It's very usefull for SEO, and it's important we know that.
Exemple:
I got some localized version of my website hosted as
fr.mybrand.com
uk.mybrand.com
pt.mybrand.com
it.mybrand.com
etcToday there are all hosted as an unique IP. This ip i marked as a french IP (geo information).
Google looks this parameters.
I wish i can have subdomains whith different IPS on the same subscription, to use the same DOCUMENT_ROOT
and to set the public IP on different geo localisation information for each contries to up as possible my result on Google for the request on those countries. Please make me dreaming with this featuer 8) 8)

Support the idea for multi-homed environment requiring a local IP for local access in addition with a VPN IP for VPN access. With an alias I could choose a local and a VPN name.
