Let me tell a few words about the SSL It! feature that allows Plesk Admin to see all certificates and their expiration date centrally :)
"Main Menu / Extensions / My Extensions / SSL It! (the "Open" button)", see the attached screenshot.

Mr Black, have you tried to follow suggestion from the error text, install docker service on the server manually first and the install the Docker extension after that? As I know, in that case the Docker extension will able to manage local Docker as well as remote nodes.

Note: it is important to install exactly Docker CE service (not podman or something like this).

One more note: the paid license is required only if you plan to manage remote Docker nodes. If you plan to manage only locally installed Docker service, the paid license is not required, this feature is free.

Repeatedly we're seeing questions on when http/3 will be implemented. http/3 is available in the experimental branch of Nginx, called "main line". This is not a branch that is "stable". Plesk only offers stable software versions for the utmost reliability you can get as reliability is much more important than speed. A fast website is of no use if its webserver crashes or the protocol doesn't work as expected in all cases. Plesk does not offer experimental features. The stable version of Nginx that supports http/3 is expected to become available in April 2024. This is when it makes sense for Plesk to also offer http/3.

From articles that foster the hype about http/3, it sounds as if it can increase a website's speed incredibly much. On average, on real website tests by several reknown sources, the acceleration has been seen at around 0.2 to 0.3 s/page, typically around 12…

    > It's a critical feature. Please implement urgently on NGINX !

"nginx-1.25.0 mainline version has been released, featuring experimental HTTP/3 support." (c) nginx news/changelog

Usually, Plesk uses stable versions of products. Currently, HTTP/3 in the nginx is in "mainline" branch only (not "stable"). It means, when the nginx "stable" version be released, it makes sense to bring support in Plesk.

    Hi everyone,

We aware of that UserVoice request and periodically attempt to find a good way how we can improve Plesk to provide this feature, but right now there are no good solutions how to do it. There are some workarounds existing but we can't implement them into Plesk or recommend for the Production use because of important limitations and/or known issues.

As an example, there are a few of possible workarounds:
    - It can be a Let's Encrypt certificate that contains several different names using the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) mechanism. The certificate should be reissued every time when a new domain is created on Plesk. It means it is easy to reach existing Let's Encrypt limits for issuing certificates, after that LE stops issuing free certificates for that server for some period of time.
    - It could be a wildcard certificate like *.example.org but Plesk's domainname usually manages by external name servers and the process could not be automated. At the same time *.example.org (reseller1.example.org, reseller2.example.org, etc.) is not the asked solution like unique and SSL protected link to Plesk per reseller/customer example1.org/example2.org.
    - Some other workarounds have concerns from security point of view.

We will continue researching on how we can deliver requested functionality. Please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

During research, we have found that the request is about passing emails via intermediate mail gateway (which works as an anti-spam solution) and the idea of the request is do not check SPF for these emails on Plesk side.

In Plesk, there is already exist a solution for that: need to use "SPF Local rules" setting to configure an SPF record which will be used by Plesk to validate emails (including emails from an intermediate anti-spam solution). See KB article for mode details (https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022753174) and Plesk documentation.

If it does not solve the issue on you Plesk environment and you still need the "IgnoreHost" option, let us know more details about you case for that in comments below.

    To everyone,

We are researching what else products are using in customers' environments as an incoming mail gateway for emails to find out is there any products that does not support SRS.

An owner of domain name with mails configures mail policies. The policy describes how emails should be processed by destination mail servers. Before develop possibility of allow ignoring a sender's policy, we want to be sure that there is really exists cases that could not be solved in correct and secure way.

Feel free comment and describe your envioronmetns and use-cases where you need the "IgnoreHosts" settiog to supress a valid sender's policy.

    Hi @sort,

SRS is supported by Plesk since 17.0.15 version, 16 August 2016 (c) https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/change-log/#plesk-17015-preview15. The feature is enabled by default.

I am not an expert in Spam Experts. According Spam Experts documentation, the feature could be enabled/disabled on Spam Experts side ("Rewrite Sender Addresses"), see https://documentation.n-able.com/spamexperts/userguide/qsg/Content/C_Domain%20Level/domains/configuration.htm.

If you think that this functionality does not work or does not work correctly in Plesk, I suggest contacting the Plesk Support team (it is necessary to collect more information about mail headers and so on).

Using SRS for forwarded emails is more secure and correct., especially if the both product support it.

    Hi Alain,
Previously all emails generated by Mailman contain HTTP links to a Mailman web interface. Now it could be configured in Plesk. If you tick a new checkbox in the domain mail settings in Plesk, Mailman will create emails with HTTPS links inside.

If I am not mistaken, Linode Object Storage is S3-compatible storage.

It means the Amazon S3 Backup extension could be used with Linode Object Storage as the custom storage ("Backup Manager" => "Remote Storage Settings" => "Amazon S3 Backup" => "Service provider: Custom"). In this case, you need to know "API Endpoint URL", "login", "password" and bucket name.

Plesk 18.0.58 added the ability to upgrade MariaDB database servers to the latest  version in the LTS branch via the Plesk interface. The feature is  currently in beta. To enable it, add the following lines to the panel.ini file:

    [databaseManagement]

    features.canBeUpgraded = 1

If you have tried the beta feature, please let us know in your comments if it worked for your or what improvements you'd like to have.

If you prefer to continue with manual updates on the operating system shell, the KB article https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12388091703703 has step-by-step instructions for you.

    Hi,

Plesk doesn't ship MariaDB, it only downloads it from original OS vendor repo. You could install another MariaDB version with Docker container.

I think you could use MongoDB as docker-container.

Short how-to about Docker extension: https://www.plesk.com/blog/product-technology/plesk-docker-extension/
Official container on Docker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/_/mongo/

Note: Please be careful with access to MongoDB, use firewall to limit access to the database.

By default, only Horde is installed on Plesk for Windows. Additionally, Plesk for Windows supports the following webmail clients (https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/mail/webmail-software.66411/):
    - MailEnable Web Client
    - SmarterMail Web Client
    - IceWarp (Merak) Mail Server Web Client
    - Atmail Open

    e.g.:
MailEnable already has support ActiveSync, CalDAV and CardDAV - https://www.mailenable.com/mobile-contacts-calendar-tasks.asp

SmarterMail already has support ActiveSync, CalDAV and CardDAV - http://help.smartertools.com/SmarterMail/v14/Topics/General/EditionComparison.aspx
