Allow customization of /etc/postfix/main.cf
I want to be able to set the recipient_delimiter. But, currently, any customizations to main.cf get overwritten.
Thank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.
Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

Of course you can edit the e-mail relay (i.e. for homeservers) via /etc/postfix/main.cf, but it would be better and nicer if you could manage this directly in Plesk Settings.

Can you clarify on what distribution you have the issue that your changes are overrwitten? We use Plesk on Debian, and we have set the reicpient_delimiter manually (as well as some other settings) and we do not see them get overwritten.

This is clearly a must-have feature, plus it's already in the standard RFC.

smtpd_*_restriction is overwritten, so we can't add custom policies there. Please fix this! PLESK support redirected us to this article.

Also, additional settings should be customizable without hassle.
For instance smtpd_*_restrictions should be customizable. At the moment, they get reset for instance when I modify the dnsbl settings using the web panel.

We implement DNS Whitelists in Postfix and occasionally, the setting gets overridden. I'm not sure under what circumstances this happens, but it does.

I think you mean master.cf.

I dont know why you think that main.cf is getting overwritten, but that is not the case. We make manual modifications to main.cf, and they stay there just fine.

Apparently, setting recipient_delimiter doesn't help anyway. The email is accepted and passed to plesk_virtual. But then it is silently discarded.
