Would you mind to try Nginx caching in Plesk Onyx 17.8 Preview?
This would be very helpful to get your experienced feedback here http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4165754/Plesk-17-8-Preview

Basically people would rather use Varnish for obvious reasons and not nginx cache.

Come on Plesk, what are you waiting for to plan this? This is one of the most requested features and on top of everyone's list.

Will Varnish EVER be implemented on Plesk?
Please, don't tell me to create a boat to be able to use it with issues, and don't tell me about votes when this is already on top (and we're not talking about something mainstream).
Just a yes or no would be good. -

I think the same. How long will the silence last from Plesk?
Varnish has been proposed for 10 years!
Can you explain why they don't implement it? They can not? They do not know? -
Carlos Mação commented
I share the same opinion.

Varnish is essential for large websites, it is not acceptable that a very high level software such as plesk does not include the possibility to automatically enable Varnish. It can be done as a doker but the data show that it is not reliable and above all functional. I expect soon that Plesk developers will include this essential service for those of us who have high traffic sites.

Crikey, how is this still not implemented? How many votes do you need for something that should have been available 5 years ago!

Plesk used to be my go-to panel, and i still use it...just not anymore on my main sites.
We're in 2023, every year the price increases like crazy, and you can't make an extension or whatever to use Varnish?
What is the price increase for? Maintaining the same thing year after year, and adding useless stuff to it?
And no, I'm not going to use Docker after paying this much for a panel. -

It would be a big advantage for plesk if there was an extension and support for varnish

Varnish is a requirement these days for fast websites. Docker doesnt work, for some reason you cannot clear cache from WordPress...

Nginx caching will not work for Magento 2 because there's no way to send an invalidation request to nginx. It will serve the site as static. Something along these lines was mentioned by the Magento team. So please support Varnish if you would like Plesk owners to host Magento 2 websites as efficiently as possible.
Magento 2 is a very big player in the market.

+++Varnish
I tested another panel with apache+nginx+varnish. Varnish with cache in RAM, websites have great speed with this config. Of course, this panel is not as safe and complex as Plesk. -
