Support for next.js applications
The problem we are facing is that Plesk's Node.js extension expects an entry point for the app (like app.js) but next.js doesn't work that way.
The expected workflow as explained here (Learn - Deploying a Next.js App | Next.js) is to run the app using npm via the command line using "npm start" after you have built the app and next.js handles the rest internally.

Already had massive troubles with other node.js Applications under plesk. Looks like this platform still is made for PHP projects. I'm looking around where to move now. There are to many node.js projects upcoming to struggle everytime with plesk integration and finding some hacks somewhere to get it running.

I tried the beneth @keithchasen approach. It doesnt work anymore. Nextjs has a new version.

We are trying to work with Next.js project but it does not work in Plesk environment. As per my hosting provider Plesk does not support for the newer versions so we have been having lot of difficulties deploying such projects.
Could you pls looking to this and update the Plesk to support such new technologies?

Please add NextJs, spent a couple of days trying to figure out why I can't connect my app, I wish I knew before purchasing web hosting. Have to cancel now.

I'm moving away from WordPress towards Next and adding more sites to Vercel. I prefer to keep them all in-house with my Plesk server, but I have to change with the times.
