Compatibility of MariaDB Upgrade Feature with CloudLinux
I would like to request compatibility between the MariaDB upgrade feature recently developed by Plesk and CloudLinux. The current upgrade feature is excellent for simplifying and enhancing the security of MariaDB upgrades, but it unfortunately does not support CloudLinux, which many users rely on for stability, security, and ease of use.
Ensuring compatibility with CloudLinux would greatly benefit users who use both platforms, making database upgrades smoother and reducing the need for complex, manual procedures. I also believe that providing specific documentation on database restoration, in case of upgrade failures during a manual process, would add considerable value for users, helping them troubleshoot more effectively.
A collaboration between Plesk and CloudLinux to address these issues would enhance the overall experience for many of your shared users. I hope you consider this request, as it would be a significant improvement for managing MariaDB in a CloudLinux environment.

Hello, thanks for your input! Unfortunately, we declined this request. CloudLinux provides own tools to upgrade MariaDB safely. Please check CloudLinux solution "Governor"
