Stop wordpress toolkit emails going out every night
Since we have upgraded to Plesk 12, many of our clients are complaining about the number of emails being sent to them regarding their wordpress is out of date.
Ideally we should be able to either turn the emails off, or set a time limit on them (say once a week or once a month).
We have searched through all crons but cannot find where this is being set.
You can do it in
Tools & Settings > Notifications > APS application updates (customer’s digest)
Lets us know if it doesn’t help

@sergey - this is not available and is not what is being asked.
"Ideally we should be able to ... set a time limit on them ... once a week or once a month"
Yes, we can disable them altoghether, but the subject specifies "every night". I think that's more the issue one one that needs to be addressed. I get complaints about this from my clients as well.

Frequency and also the possibility to send to a different email address per WP installation is needed. Often the web designer is not the same as the owner.

Why can't I vote for this?

Is there any way to send it less often, for example once a week or once a month?
In my opinion it could be a good tradeoff -

Same here, would be great to be able to just change frequency of the emails, not disable completely.

This request is not about turning it off but about the frequency, how often the notices are sent - and this is NOT available! We are very interested in this, too.
Other suggestion: Fine filtering notifications for WordPress updates - if plugin, theme oder WordPress main update. In this case I would turn off plugins and theme update notifications for customers. I wrote this as new suggestion here:

I would like to throw my hat into that ring as well. I would be very interested in the ability to change the frequency, but I would like it to be group specific. The admins would get the email say monthly, but the client would get it weekly.

We would also be VERY interested to change the Frequency of the Wordpress Update E-Mails ... guess it would be coded very fast and easy - and would help a lot ...
Hope you can integrate it fast! ;-)Andreas Schnederle-Wagner

Hi Dave,
It's possible to turn off notifications as you asked. And yes, its not possible to set period for notifications. We will improve it in future updates.

Hi Sergey,
No its not already done!
Tools & Settings > Notifications > APS application updates (customer’s digest) - There is nowhere to change the frequency of emails being sent out - Only the text which is sent.
Currently emails go out every night for wordpress toolkit. We want this to be changed to once a week or once a month.
