SSL Certificates (S)ubject-(A)lternative-(N)ames X509 V3
Where: Plesk UI -> "Add SSL Certificate"
What:
It is possible to provide (S)ubject-(A)lternative-(N)ames (SAN) in certificates and their CSR (X509 V3 extension). Additional to the main FQDN which is already read from the "Domain name" field in the plesk UI.
Example-Explanation:
http://apetec.com/support/GenerateSAN-CSR.htm
SubjectAlternativeNames are often used to secure www.yourcompany.com AND yourcompany.com with the SAME certificate. At least for this "rootdomain" case (CN=www.domain.tld + SAN=domain.tld) this is supported even by the cheapest certificates.
It is also very very common to include the rootdomain as SAN in expansive wildcard certificates.
So I was quite surpised when I realized this is not a feature of plesk yet.. and a bit annoyed too, because I now have to buy a second certificate with a "correct" CSR with SAN set ...

Unfortunately, we have to close your request, because over the years it has not become quite popular for further implementation.

I updated the extension to Let's Encrypt 2.0.0-21 and Plesk Onyx Version 17.0.17 Update #21 and do not see any options to add aliases. I tried renewing existing domain and also deleting Let's Encrypt SSL and replacing with self-signed and then re-installing Let's Encrypt SSL and still no alias options. I even uninstalled Let's Encrypt extension and re-installed. No joy. How do I get this option?
