Temporary FTP accounts (with expire date)
It would be great to have ftp account with an expire date.
A sort of temporary ftp accounts.
This becomes really usefull when you need to share your ftp details temporary with a webdeveloper, or somebody else to maintain of check an website.
I always make a new FTP account for this sort of events, but then forget to delete them. It would be real nice if you could set a expire date that the account automaticly blocks itself after that date is past.
Thank you for your input. We will consider the possibility of implementing this feature in upcoming releases.

This would be such an incredibly useful feature. Left over temporary third party developer accounts are a constant source of website compromise. Plesk won't even show you the date the accounts were created.

Oh yes, this would be awesome. Limit access to 1hour, 1week, 1month, permanent.
Its often so fast, that you forget to delete old accounts or something ....
This should be ask or considered by default, while creating a FTP Account -

also for system users, so a web designer can get temporary access or a user can be temporarily disabled

I would like to have this feature released soon.
There is a workaround using "chage" as supposed by plesk support staff, but such changes should be made visible to the end customer. Otherwise it only generates support effort for the plesk administrator or the managed hosting provider. -

We also need the feature to set an expire-date for ftp-users.
When the expire-date has been reached, the user should get a dialogue "Please change your ftp-password" - in Plesk. Background: Many users never change their password and accounts are compromised.
