I suggest you ...

change password next login

Ask user to change password at next login screen after reset.
We the providers could generate a temp password (customer asks for a reset), and after the first login screen, plesk will force ask from the client to change our temp password.

This functionality is now available in the Plesk Onyx 17.9 Preview 9. Now it’s possible to automatically send an email with reset link to a particular customer.

We encourage you to check the implementation and let us know what you think. Please visit the following forum thread to learn how to access the preview: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plesk-onyx-17-9-preview.348675/page-2#post-857402

Adding this functionality would be advisable in the interests of maintaining good password security.

Valid point, considering more and more security breaches at Hosting Providers lately, this would not be a bad idea to force passwords to not be known by provider (at least not in ticketing system / mail trail).
