Pull files from Remote Server
Plesk has ability to copy files to another site. But in case of shifting of hosting often we need to pull files from another server. It should have the option to copy files/folders directly from another remote server via FTP.
We understand the general appeal of this idea, but we’d like to clarify your expectations about what kind of files Plesk should pull — Plesk backup files (with option of immediate restoration) or just all contents of user-specified folder?

Have you tried using Plesk backup/restore or Plesk migration tools to transfer files when you are shifting hosting?

Generally when shifting hosting, almost all files from old remote host are required to be copied to new server. For large websites it is very time consuming to download all files from old remote to local system and then again upload them to new server. Many old hosts do not provide option to copy files to another site. Therefore, depending on old host to push files to new server an authentic user should have the option to pull files.
A website generally has multiple types of files. PHP, ASPX, JPG, VB, CS etc. A provision could be made either to pull all contents of specified folder or more specifically user may also have the option to pull selected file types such as JPG, PNG, GIF, ASPX only.
A thought could also be given to import database(s).
