Slave DNS using other PLESK Servers
I have multiple plesk servers. It would be awesome if you could provide a control panel (DNS) switch to allow the secondary (other plesk server) to become the slave to the original DNS.
The Extension that is offered requires extensive adjustments to bind on the slave server. We're not that Linux savvy.
Thank you for your input!
Unfortunately, we have to close your request, because over the years it has not become quite popular for further implementation.

I too would appreciate this feature.
I was very surprised when I was informed by a Plesk support engineer that a Plesk Bind install can't act as both master/***** DNS server. This is after I went through the trouble of configuring two Plesk servers, adding ***** DNS extension to both, configuring named.conf and ***** DNS extension as instructed, just to find that the Plesk Bind config won't create ***** zones based on notifies from another Plesk server if it's serving master zones.
Sure, I can spin up VMs to act as ***** DNS servers relatively cheap, but Plesk servers already have Bind installed. Why not use it to full potential?
Also, adding a proper interface to the Plesk server admin to configure default primary/secondary nameservers when adding new domains, then updating DNS templates as appropriate would be nice.
Are there downsides to this that I just don't see? Every other CP that I've used has had this feature out of the box.

Here is the ideal solution for us... When we create a record on Plesk Server 1 a record will automatically create and update on Plesk Server 2. We would like to be able to see the record on Plesk Server 2 through the Control Panel and not through Linux command lines. That way we can be sure that the Secondary DNS has been created on Plesk Server 2.
A wonderful solution would be a check box on Plesk Server 1 (extension) giving the operator the option of autocreation of DNS on Plesk Server 2.
Therefore in the main control panel of Plesk Server 1 there needs to be a Secondary DNS setup without having to go through a command line instance.
