Implement the ability to disable the backups of Wordpress toolkit, or limit the amount of backups that a domain user can do within this extension.4 votes
The ability to limit the number of backup files via Service Plans was added in WPT 5.1. Setting the number of backups to zero disables the backup feature in WPT altogether.
It would be great to have the ability to add sets to existing WordPress instance via Toolkit. On most occasions when we place an existing WordPress site under management have have a pre defined set of plugins we install. These need to be installed one at a time or via script. A number of developers have also expressed ability to install their own sets to an existing WordPress instance.4 votes
The ability to install sets on existing sites was added for Server Administrators in WPT v4.4.0. Go to the Sets tab and click on the ‘…’ button corresponding to the required set to see the Install Set button. Let us know what you think!
The Maintenance Page provided by WordPress Toolkit is lacking translations. Only english locals are provided. See attachment. Can you please add other languages (french for example, I can give the texts to you :) ) ? Thanks !4 votes
We’ve added translations for Maintenance page and multiple other screens.
WordPress extension should create a backup automatically before applying updates.4 votes
The “safe updates” feature was released in WordPress Toolkit 2.3. Now you can save a snapshot of your WordPress instance before updating it or syncing data to it. Changelog: https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/change-log/#1753-mu20170824We would love to hear your feedback on our forum at http://talk.plesk.com. Thanks!
installing Hebrew WordPress via application in plesk4 votes
WordPress Toolkit v2.0 installs WordPress directly from wordpress.org and provides you with a selection of all languages supported by WordPress.
WordPress Toolkit will be updated to v2.0 automatically if you have the previous version of WordPress Toolkit installed.
To install WordPress in Hebrew, open WordPress Toolkit on a subscription, click Install > Custom and select Hebrew under Interface Language. Note that Hebrew is spelled in Hebrew characters, not the latin ones.
It would be great to add ability to customize Quick installation settings of Wordpress. For example, currently it is not possible to change installation path in case of Quick installation option is selected. However it maybe required to modify the path without customizing other options (such as Administrative access credentials, main configuration etc), Having ability to modify default quick installation settings would be a nice tool, which make it easier to use WordPress for end-users.3 votes
We have redesigned the installation experience, and it seems that installation of WordPress is now working the way you want. Check the feature out and let us know if you have any additional comments!
As lot of our Customers / Reseller complain abaut the Daily sent Wordpress Update Mails - it would be important if we could change the Frequency of the Mails ... so we could say send them once per week ...
We know that we can disable them completely - but that's not an option - as it's important to urge Customers to upgrade their WP installations ... but E-Mail every day is too much! ;-)

There was a bug in Plesk that caused notifications about the same updates to be sent every day until these updates were installed. This bug was fixed in the latest Plesk MU (#32), so the root cause of customer complains should be resolved.
When "Disable wp-cron.php option" is enabled, it is possible to customize only task's execution time, or it will be re-created with the default settings (details: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/73391/#setting-up-a-regular-run-of-wp-cron-php).
Add an option to customize other wp-cron.php task's properties (description, send notifications or not, etc).2 votes
WordPress Toolkit v5.4 now allows you to explicitly choose if you need a replacement cron task and to modify the settings of this cron task.
Add the possibility to enable smart updates per domain via CLI2 votes
The ability to enable and disable Smart Updates via CLI was added in WPT 4.8, released last week. Run ‘plesk ext wp-toolkit —smart-update’ to learn more about this command.
Currently, we can define the default database prefix, but it assigns a random table name prefix, which is confusing to users. I'd like an option to specify the default table name prefix2 votes
This functionality is now available in WPT 4.9.0. Let us know on our forum if you have any feedback!
- Option for "bulk remove" instances (included all wp-content folder)
- Option for bulk "clone" a WP instance to multiple subdomains/domains or subdirs
Of course, also include support for clone/remove instances using command-line support (https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/plesk-administration/wordpress-toolkit-in-plesk.73563/)2 votes
WPT 4.6 introduces the ability to clone WordPress sites via CLI (command: plesk ext wp-toolkit —clone).
Currently only Wordpress installations itself get updates but the plugins will not be automatically updated.2 votes
The ability to automatically update all plugins or themes on an instance was added to WPT in version 3.1.
I just click the
scanbutton on WordPress Management, but now the system kept sending Emails to every of my members. please check this screenshot.
I want to close this feature, please tell me how?2 votes
There was a bug in Plesk that caused notifications about the same updates to be sent every day until these updates were installed. This bug was fixed in the latest Plesk MU (#32). We suggest to install this MU and see if notifications are still bothering you and your users. If they are, you can turn them off completely:
Go to Tools & Settings > Notifications and clear the checkboxes next to these items:
APS application updates (administrator’s digest)
APS application updates (reseller’s digest)
APS application updates (customer’s digest)
Under domain i have multiple (28) wordpress sites. All of them listed as "Wordpress". Why cant i see which site is which?
Allow us to see which Wordpress site is which without having to click on each one. I have 28 sites and it makes it extremely difficult to locate a particular site.2 votes
Site name is shown in Plesk 12.0 instead of just “WordPress” (in new WordPress Toolkit function)
Wordpress Settings with Prefix for more Secruity.
A lot of People Change the Prefix in Wordpress for more Security.
Can we get more Settings Options for Wordpress?
On a automatic Update it's reset the Config.php and delete Prefix or something extra Options.2 votes
This function is available in our new WordPress Toolkit function of Plesk 12.0
Each WP Toolkit entry now has 5 predefinied labels (production, demo, testing, staging, development) to mark site with.
Would be great to have ability to create own label/labels.
Also, would be great to have ability to filter sites with marked label, i. .e. show me all sites with label "production" in WP Toolkit.1 vote
We have added the ability to filter sites by labels in WPT 4.7, please check it out.
Since we haven’t seen any examples of custom labels for more than a month (which was the second part of the request), we’re closing this request as completed. If anyone feels the need to have custom labels, please create a new request and provide examples of such labels, so we can better understand why they’re needed.
Plesk Web Admin version comes with a limited WP Toolkit.
It updates WP automatically and the option to deactivate the autoupdate is blocked because of licensing.
I understand that to handle updates from Plesk one should buy a Toolkit license but for the basic free version it should be possible do disable updates.
Thank you.1 vote
WPT 5.0 has made changing of update settings free for all users.
Right after detaching an instance in Home > Wordpress it remains on the page because the page is not refreshed.
I suggest to invoke page refresh after detaching as it can confuse the customers.1 vote
This issue was fixed in one of the previous WPT releases.
Switching to 'old' WPT interface just for disabling Addendio not optimal solution.1 vote
We have removed Addendio completely in WPT 3.2, replacing it with our own interface.
Wordpress is an important part of the Plesk strategy, so I think it would be good to add this category to uservoice.
This will make browsing and voting easier for people who are interested WordPress.1 vote
