Thank you for your input. Unfortunately, we were not able to get a clear idea of your request. If you would like customize Plesk's theme, you are able to do so. You can check the documentation here. If you are referring to something else, please provide us with more information on what feature exactly you would like to be added.

    Thank you in advance.

  2. Code Auto Indent

Automatically indenting code will be a very useful feature, similar to various other IDEs such as Notepad++ & VSCode to name a few. It will help in keeping the code aesthetic & clean and also allow the next person who will work on it to get a very quick understanding of the "flow of logic". Thank you.

  3. Add IP Address and "non-existent mailbox" to plesk_saslauthd Authentication Logs

In the "maillog" program logs, which contain "server plesk_saslauthd" entries, the IP addresses are not recorded. During brute force attacks from multiple IPs, there are failed login attempts to non-existent mailboxes. While these attacks don't pose a direct threat, they consume server resources and could become dangerous if they target existing mailboxes.

I request that IP addresses be added to the "server plesk_saslauthd" logs, along with information about non-existent mailboxes, to improve filtering through fail2ban.

    Current log:
Sep 20 08:14:00 server plesk_saslauthd[117757]: failed mail authentication attempt for user 'example@domain.com' (password len=14)

    Suggested log:
    Sep 20 08:14:00 server plesk_saslauthd[117757]:…

  4. Keep custom outgoing mail limit in input box when turning on "unlimited"

Situation: When "unlimited" outgoing mail is turned on, a custom value previously present in outgoing mail limits is removed from the input box. When turning "unlimited" off, a user needs to re-type the previous content into the input box(es).

Why it should be easier: An outoing mail limit needs to e lifted for planned mass mailings. After the mailing was sent, the previous limit needs to be set again. However, this happens not immediately after the mailing. On servers with many users, the previous custom values need to be saved/noted manually so that the correct previous values can be restored.…

  5. MIgration of Backups to Cheaper Alternatives

While you provide the ability to backup to different locations, whether on local disk, FTP, SMB share, or cloud you do not provide an ability to migrate backups through the tiers. First off local disk is the most expensive and you should only keep a small subset of backups. After that there should be an ability to migrate those backups to cheaper alternatives, like S3 storage, while continuing to preserve the metadata.

  6. Each subscriber restarts their IIS

I am a subscriber, not a reseller. When IIS goes down, we subscribers don't have to raise the service again. Suggestion, if this pool is separated by subscriber, would it be possible to restart just my IIS?

  9. Custom buttons for the customer

It would be great to be able to insert custom buttons into the client's Plesk panel without having to manipulate Plesk code.
At the moment only in the Plesk ADMIN panel it is possible to add custom buttons, but the customer cannot see them from his panel.
    Greetings

Thank you for your update. I understand now. You would like to add the custom button in the navigation menu for customers. You are right, at this point, it is possible to configure such an option only through classes inherited from pm_Hook_CustomButtons. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it becomes popular.

Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

  10. separate user group for iwpd users

    For plesk on windows

It would be helpful if plesk created a separate user group for all IWPD users.

That would allow me to set specific security settings to that group.

See this kb article as an example: https://www.plesk.com/kb/support/access-to-cmd-exe-and-powershell-exe-how-to-allow-it-to-subscription-users-and-deny-to-iis-users-on-a-plesk-server/

Because the IWPD user and account user are in the same psacln group we cannot use that group to block cmd or powershell access (since the domain account apparently needs to be able to run those commands).

The workaround revolves around manually creating a new security group and manually adding those users to the new group, the obvious problem with that…

  11. Integrate Enhanced ERP System Management Capabilities

It would be highly beneficial if Plesk could develop and integrate advanced features for ERP system management, particularly for platforms like Odoo. This could include seamless synchronization between Plesk and ERP databases, improved tools for managing ERP-related web applications, and enhanced security protocols specifically designed for ERP environments. By offering these functionalities, Plesk would significantly streamline the administration of ERP systems, providing users with a more cohesive and efficient management experience.

  12. Migrating tool for Apache2 (Wordpress) linux server confs and sites.

Just reading with ssh root access /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ and listing sites to be copied with their files and databases. Also Nginx sites.
It could be payable extension linked to Plesk license.

  14. Under Users, add "Admin Tools & Settings" to "Open Sessions Management" to “Security Access View Active Sessions” to logoff inactive users.

Presently, if a session is interrupted, admins have no way to end an inactive user. Some times I get this:

"Warning: Another user with the same username ([shows user name here]) is already logged in to Plesk."

Please consider this fix for Plesk Obsidian 18.0.39

Add under Users, (or at least in the main panels somewhere), a button to allow "Admin Tools & Settings" to "Open Sessions Management" to allow “Security Access" to be able a "View of Active Sessions” to be able to also click a button to logoff any inactive users. A "Logoff Inactive Users" button should be…

Thank you for your suggestion. At this point, admin users are able to close additional sessions from Tools & Settings > Active Plesk Sessions (Session Manager). I am attaching a screenshot for better reference.

In case that does not fulfill your specific requirements, please provide us with more details on why that solution is not satisfactory.

  15. SSL settings per plan restriction

Hi it would be nice to have in plan permission settings, to disable access to SSL (both those from extensions as well as LetsEncrypt) Settings for Hosting Plan, not user as it was sugested. Exactly the same way it has been done with SiteJet Builder.

I have some customers who are non-technical, so less options in the Panel then better for them.

  16. Add method to REST API to manage domain default DNS zone settings (for DNS TTL management)

Currently when using the REST API to get the DNS records of a domain, no TTL values are returned for records unless their TTL values have been changed by the user manually. That's because (by default) DNS records inherit their TTL values from the default DNS zone settings of a domain. However these default DNS zone settings cannot be viewed or managed by the Rest API. Meaning that the default TTL values for DNS records can be viewed using the REST API.

Resulting in a deficiency for users who want to use the REST API to properly manage DNS records.

  17. Disable Plesk toast notifications

When backups are created manually a Toaster notification is shown. This also applies when creating backups via CLI or API. In case multiple backups are run via CLI or API (for example overnight) the next time an Admin logs into Plesk he gets flooded with Toaster notification.

It would be nice to have an option to disable Toaster notifications for backups.

  19. Display full cronjob output when running cronjob manually in Plesk

Currently when manually starting a scheduled task in Plesk the script/command output is cut off when the output is long. It would be helpful if the full output could be displayed. That would make debug for example much easier.

  20. Preset the option to block XML-RPC requests for new WordPress installations

    Hello!
It would be nice to have a feature where one can select XML-RPC to be blocked for all newly installed WordPress websites installed via the WordPress Toolkit in Plesk.
At the moment, only the option to preset disabled wp-cron.php is available, but no such option is present for blocking requests to XML-RPC.
The customers never use it, but also do not block it from their end and it is a hassle to do it manually for every new WP site.
Would it be possible to add such a feature to the WP Toolkit settings?
