  1. Add possibility to view FTP log file via Plesk GUI.

    Add possibility to view FTP /var/log/plesk/xferlog file via Plesk GUI.

    It will be helpful in order to check what operations were made by FTP accounts.

    Also, add a possibility to download this file via Plesk GUI and convert this file to PDF and CSV formats.

  2. Prevent users to be able to remove files from file manager

    Add the possibility to prevent/block any file or directory removal from within the File Manager in Plesk by the subscription/domain users.

    An example that could be applied is the same as it can be applied already for ProFTP config files as follows:

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/.cagefs>
    <Limit ALL>
    DenyAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/.cl.selector>
    <Limit ALL>
    DenyAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/error_docs>
    <Limit DELE>
    DenyAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/httpdocs>
    <Limit RMD>
    DenyAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/*/httpdocs/*>
    <Limit RMD>
    AllowAll
    </Limit>
    </Directory>

  3. Supply versions of Apache newer than provided by OS vendors

    Currently, Plesk supports Apache from the Linux vendor and does not provide its own Apache build. For example, CentOS 6 has Apache 2.2 by default.

    Based on the article comment it would be good to have more recent Apache version in use: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213901685?page=1#comment_360001830960

    Apache 2.4.6 was released in 2013 (!) in the meantime the latest version is Apache 2.4.46 (august 2020).
    I understand Plesk cannot update Apache every time to a newer version, however still running 2.4.6 is a bit absurd.

    Furthermore there are quite a few CVE fixes in the newer versions along with several new performance tweaks /…

  5. Add the option to remove certain domain names or its parts from Let's Encrypt certificates auto-renewal notifications

    Add the option to remove certain domain names from Let's Encrypt certificates auto-renewal failure (customer's digest) and Let's Encrypt certificates auto-renewal success (customer's digest).

    For example, I have domain example.com without "www" part (by design) that is secured with Let's Encrypt certificate for example.com (without "www" part). Plesk sends the notification that the www.example.com could not be secured. With the suggested option it will be possible to switch off such notification for "www" part only so that the regular notification for example.com will be active.

  6. Add functionality for Watchdog to monitor extension services

    Currently, the Watchdog component can not monitor extension services.
    Suggest to add extensions services (e.g. Immunify 360) to the list of the services scanned by Watchdog.

  7. Allow configuring Smart Updates to check process such as Checkout

    Allow configuring Smart Updates to check process such as the Checkout when Wordpress is used as an online store (WooCommerce) so it ensures that performing the upgrade won't break the checkout process from beginning to end.

    And/Or allow the ability to configure custom testing scenarios.

  8. Automatically synchronize folders created via outlook in Plesk Premium Email Kolab

    Since Kolab Syncroton does not enable sync on newly created folders, it should be enabled manually.

    They would need to select the ActiveSync device ID, click to enable the synchronization of the folder and save the changes.

    While it was nice if there will be an ability to do so automatically.

  9. Add multiple Git users with SSH Key authentication

    We are waiting for this feature in Plesk: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/18772873

    We've to apply manually the commands described in here, which is not the desired user experience: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006103313

    Said that, I'm creating this request because it would be a great step if Plesk would also allow Git users with SSH Key authentication. There isn't any workaround available, which is quite frustrating that after 2 years Plesk didn't implement it.

  11. plesk repair db should fix dns_zone table

    To improve "plesk repair" utility so that it should be able to remove orphaned records from database's tables dnszone and dnsrecs, for domains that doesn't exist anymore.
    Additional information: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213374109-Unable-to-create-a-new-domain-subdomain-or-migrate-rename-an-existing-domain-subdomain-DNS-record-already-exists?source=search

  12. Allow changing the percentage threshold when mail quota warning is sent and also allow CC to administrator

    Allow changing the percentage when the mail quota warning is sent, in small sized mailboxes the 95% could be almost to late.
    So it would be good to have an option to adjust it for example to 85% or other values.

  13. Add ability to select 64-bit drivers in ODBC Data Sources

    In the menu "ODBC Data Sources", it is possible to select only 32-bit ODBC drivers upon setting up a connection, even if 64-bit version of a driver is installed in the system (MS Access .mdb driver for example).
    Customers should be able to select 64-bit drivers as well.

  14. PHP Openssl extension customization

    Enabling Tools & Settings > PHP Settings > Openssl does not provide a box for default config file customization. The default one is c:\usr\local\ssl\openssl.cnf.

    It would be nice to have the possibility to customize this value from Plesk

  15. Email notifications/alerts for Modsecurity (WAF)

    It will be great to have the ability to receive an email notification from Modsecurity (WAF) when protection has been breached with corresponding breach information (SQL injection, Command injection, Cross-site scripting, etc.).

  17. Organize WordPress sites into groups for easy managing

    We manage Wordpress Sites for our Customers in different Levels, like managed Bronze-, Silver- or Gold-Level.
    If we can group the Wordpress-Sites, it will be easy to select all Gold-managed Sites for Updates, Optimisations, etc.
    A field for comments would also be fine.

  18. Implement backup/recovery option for Google Authenticator

    There's no backup/recovery option implemented. Users can lose/change mobile phones. Google Authenticator don't
    have any standard procedure to recover.

    If it is not possible,

    add a big fat note warning that users should take a screenshot and print out the page (and store it at a safe place)

  19. docker proxy rule respect host/ip

    when mapping a port to the host it is possible to bind it to a host/ip too.

    # docker run --name test -p 127.0.1.1:80:80 ...

    # docker port test
    80/tcp -> 127.0.1.1:80

    When building a docker rule now in plesk the host/ip is ignored and the proxy_pass goes for the default ip 0.0.0.0:

    proxy_pass http://0.0.0.0:80;

    The rule should respect the host/ip.

    proxy_pass http://127.0.1.1:80;

    Have a nice day

    Thank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

    I would very much appreciate if you add some explanation comments why you prefer Amazon Linux instead of already supported OSes (like CentOS/Debian/RedHat/Ubuntu). Why it is important for you?

    Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.
