    This is a huge requirement, since it's saving tons of space for big accounts.

    Us coming from cPanel servers are in a big need of this, especially since compression is a simple thing to add for e.g. dovecot - so shipping it by default would be amazing.

    We'd like to look into possibly offering Plesk as an option next to cPanel, however, we'd need mdbox to be supported, since we're working with customers who have enormous mailboxes (literally 100s of thousands of emails) - Maildir simply isn't effective when working with tons of emails.
