    We’d like to introduce this feature, but we’ll have to solve certain technical difficulties first (for example, properly handle cases where database structure is updated by a plugin and you want to roll the changes back). We’re positive that we can overcome these difficulties, though.

    This would be great, but I don't think it's actually possible with Fail2Ban. I've tried to modify jail actions so that the offending log file is sent with the action alert, but even that has proven to be very difficult. Fail2Ban is not "aware" of any username that caused the ban, it only "knows" about the line in a log file that matches a filter.

    I'd like to add my support for this. What I would like to see is the ability to disallow access to the backup scheduler via the Service Plan.

    Our case: We schedule daily full backups via the Plesk Backup Scheduler and so we don't really want our customers going and adding additional scheduled backups, all they really need is the ability to run backups manually.
