More descriptive Action Log for WordPress Toolkit
Make Action Log more descriptive for actions such the ones in WordPress Toolkit.
I.E.: Actions are registered like the installation with full information like for example the version of the product however, when it gets updated, the versions are not shown anymore neither initial and final.
8 votesWordPress Toolkit v5.4 now includes site logs for each WordPress installation. These logs contain info about important WordPress Toolkit actions performed on a site, so I’m closing this request as completed.
Note: we still need to add a number of other actions to the log, and this is something we’re already working on in scope of upcoming WPT v5.5 release. A separate interface for viewing log files will also be included.
Let us know if you have any questions or feedback.

Exclude plugins from auto-update
The auto-update is great, but it is even better to exclude plugins from the auto-update. Some plugins breaks the site or plugins are customized.
30 votesHey everyone, WordPress Toolkit v5.7 adds the ability to configure automatic updates for each individual plugin and theme on a site. This should allow you to exclude any plugins from autoupdates. Site-wide autoupdate policies were also adjusted accordingly.

Be able to enable all security options from WordPress Toolkit on all instances via CLI
Be able to enable all security options recommended by the WordPress Toolkit on all instances via CLI so that it would save customers' time as they would not need to login to the Panel and select all of them manually on all instances.
15 votesIn WPT v6.0 we have added REST API that allows you to manage security options on any given site. We hope this should cover your needs. Let us know if you have any feedback.

Ability to add sets to existing WordPress instance via Toolkit
It would be great to have the ability to add sets to existing WordPress instance via Toolkit. On most occasions when we place an existing WordPress site under management have have a pre defined set of plugins we install. These need to be installed one at a time or via script. A number of developers have also expressed ability to install their own sets to an existing WordPress instance.
4 votesHi everyone,
The ability to install sets on existing sites was added for Server Administrators in WPT v4.4.0. Go to the Sets tab and click on the ‘…’ button corresponding to the required set to see the Install Set button. Let us know what you think!

Customize Quick installation of Wordpress
It would be great to add ability to customize Quick installation settings of Wordpress. For example, currently it is not possible to change installation path in case of Quick installation option is selected. However it maybe required to modify the path without customizing other options (such as Administrative access credentials, main configuration etc), Having ability to modify default quick installation settings would be a nice tool, which make it easier to use WordPress for end-users.
3 votesWe have redesigned the installation experience, and it seems that installation of WordPress is now working the way you want. Check the feature out and let us know if you have any additional comments!

Refresh the page in a browser right after detaching a WP instance in WP Toolkit
Right after detaching an instance in Home > Wordpress it remains on the page because the page is not refreshed.
I suggest to invoke page refresh after detaching as it can confuse the customers.1 voteThis issue was fixed in one of the previous WPT releases.

Plesk API - support for Wordpress cloning
I suggest creating an option to use Plesk API for cloning a Wordpress installation. This is well easy now in GUI environment but does not support third-party dashboard integration.
It would be great to implement this into Plesk API so clients would be able to create staging environment on one click without a need to login to the Plesk interface.
19 votesWPT 4.6 introduces the ability to clone WordPress sites via CLI (command: plesk ext wp-toolkit —clone). If you have any feedback on how this feature works, please let us know on our forum (https://talk.plesk.com)

Option to disable wp-cron and set up crontab
Add an option to WordPress Toolkit to disable wp-cron.php execution and optionally create a real cron job.
You would have to add:
define('DISABLEWPCRON', true);
to wp-config.php and than give the admin a choice to set up a cron job with custom times (e.g. every 10Min or 6h).See: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/real-cron-job/
12 votesThe ability to disable wp-cron was added in WPT 4.7. Users can enable a switch on each site, disabling wp-cron execution. This will also create a scheduled task in Plesk which you can modify to change the execution frequency.
Server administrators can also choose to enable this feature on all new WordPress sites. This is done on WPT Settings screen.

Checking Wordpress Plugins/Themes against the Wpvulndb
The Wordpress Toolkit utilities in Onyx are awesome, but it would be pretty cool it could also check currently installed plugins/themes(versions) against the WPScan Vulnerability Database https://wpvulndb.com/ or some similar service so that known vulnerabilities could be highlighted, or automatically forced to be updated...
35 votesWordPress Toolkit 5.8 now includes hourly and on-demand site vulnerability scan for plugins, themes, and WordPress core versions.

Ask for confirmation when click on "Install Wordpress"'s button.
On a website that's already installed with Wordpress the button to Install Wordpress still appears and sometimes when you misclick, another installation of wordpress starts.
Please add an option/or directly Ask for confirmation when clicking on "Install Wordpress" because of a mis-click, once the installation starts there is no way to stop it, and it installs on the same website that has already Wordpress installed.
7 votesWe have redesigned the installation experience and now you cannot accidentally install WordPress anymore (you have to make at least one confirmation click). Enjoy!
